on the way to Piat, for a church visit..

then dalton pass, came to my mind,

tips on this road pls, more on uphill ba ito?

sa map, I don't see any zigzag from Sta Fe to Aritao, a distance of 13.9 kms

First time, ko to pass this road..., so, I would like to know some pointers, I hate surprises

more on uphill siya galing sanjose...

sementado na daan pero may konting bakubako...(that was 4 yrs ago...)

Was it 4 years ago when we went to Banaue for a weekend vacation? On our way back, we were held on an incline for about 30minutes at Sta. Fe, one of my favorite towns along the way, because of the ongoing road construction. And because of this, only one lane can pass on a segment of the road.

When it was our turn on the road, I needed to overtake more than 30 trucks perhaps as they're slow moving but the drivers are generally courteous.... But you can just imagine the chaos on that stretch of zigzag road as the lighter and more agile vehicles are all attempting to overtake the huge trucks....

Gabi pala ang byahe mo. Sayang you're going to miss the views. Just passed by Dalton pass two weeks ago. From San Jose NE (more uphill) to Sta. Fe, NV (more downhill), is very long and winding road. May mga curves na very sharp. May mga portions na lubak lubak. Just don't drive too fast and make sure that your brakes are properly working.

By the way, From Santiago to Tuguegarao, you have two options - via Ramon - Aurora - Roxas or Via Cauayan - Ilagan. The former is the shorter way.

    Ingat sa byahe.

Check the pictures from Dalton Pass Viewpoint here.

I've been to Cagayan and Isabela several times but never been to Piat. I'd try my best to visit Piat next time. Thanks for sharing the pictures.

My grandfather is Ibanag and whenever our folks from cagayan are visiting,
    english nga salita sa bahay.

Pag nag tagalog ka you will be treated as a army soldier.
