    Hello Sirs,

Please redirect me if this thread already exists.

Based on my research. Here is my plan.

    1) Cebu City to Toledo City by land - (hrs??)
    2) Toledo City, Cebu to San Carlos City in Negros Oriental via RORO Vessel - (hrs??)(price??)
    3) San Carlos City to Bacolod city by land - (hrs??)
    4) Bacolod City to Dumanggas, Iloilo via RORO Vessel - (hrs??)(price??)
    5) Dumanggas to Malay, Aklan (Caticlan) via land - (hrs??)
    6) Malay, Aklan (caticlan) to Roxas, Mindoro Oriental via RORO Vessel - (hrs??)(price??)
    7) Roxas to Calapan, Mindoro Oriental via land - - (hrs??)
    8) Calapan, Mindoro Oriental to Batangas City via RORO Vessel- (hrs??)(price??)
    9) Batangas city to Manila via land

Sirs, is this correct? Saw this ad dated 2009 pa po. baka may alternate routes na na mas malapit at mas mabilis.

    Vehicle: Montero 4x2 only
    Thanks you

yung no 6-8 puede na isang step yan

2Go already has a ferry service from caticlan direct to batangas port

10 hrs daw ang travel. for the price, you can check the website of 2Go

kayang kaya yung rough roads at tarik ng rampa ng monty

As far as I can remember,

Batangas to Calapan around 2 hrs (RORO)
Calapan to Roxas around 4 hrs
Roxas to Caticlan around 5 hrs (RORO)
Caticlan to Dumanggas around 4 hrs
Dumanggas to Bacolod around 1.5 hrs

Bacolod to San Carlos around around 3 hrs
San Carlos to Toledo around 3 hrs din yata

Last time ko nagawa yung trip na to was around 2009 pa.

    Meron din isa pang way,

    Cebu - Ormoc, Leyte (RORO)
    Ormoc, Leyte - Tacloban
    Tacloban - Allen, Samar
Allen, Samar - Matnog, Sorsogon (RORO)
    Matnog - Manila.

But between the 2, I would suggest you the caticlan route. Mas konti ang driving mo.

    IMHO the best route is:

    1. Cebu City- Calbayog through Cokaliong Shipping (7t Montero freight) Leave Cebu 7pm and arrive Calbayog 7 am next day.

    2. Calbayog to Allen - 45 minutes, arrive Allen Port around 9-10 am, in time for the 11 am RORO Sta Clara to Matnog. Freight 1.2t Travel time 1:30 minutes.

    3. Matnog to Naga City - 4-5 hours

    4. Naga City to Manila - depende nayan sa traffic sa Pagbilao. Usually nag papahinga ako sa Naga City then leave at around 12 midnight para walang traffic sa Pagbilao and Candelaria.

Ive done this several times, on return trip to Cebu, I drive straight to Ormoc, for the Shuttle Ferry at 11 pm.
You may have longer driving time as oppose to via Caticlan, but driving is more enjoyable than waiting for the RORO.

Road condition, from Calbayog to Naga City maganda ang daan. Tanggal ang bara ng EGR sa kakahataw. No speed limit, ingat lang sa mga bata naglalaro sa daan. At maraming sharp curves.
From Naga City to Sipocot, mapapasimangot ka.
From Sipocot to Pagbilao, okay na rin, under repair yung parts ng Andaya Highway.
Pagbilao to Lucena , under construction ang kalsada.

    I also drive a MS.

We pass by this route recently, Kaya lang all the way to Surriago route namin, pero we pass by calbayog also, Medy pangit lng po road condition sa may Tagbilaran pero the rest is ok naman all the way. We also drive a montero sport 2.5. from matnog to Manila travel time is arround 10 to 11 hrs if you travel by night to avoid trapik sa Quezon province. Ok sa performance ang MS, downside is nakakatok lng sa curve masydo soft ang rear suspension especially sa bundok ng samar, this is where fortuner out performs the MS, stable parin si fort sa mga curve even at high speed unlike the MS that you really need to slow a bit. hehe

    May alternate route

It is northern Cebu to Masbate, then Masbate to Bicol (malapit na sa Legazpi ang port), then Bicol to Manila.

Check mo Montenegro Lines, may Cebu - Masbate - Batangas City. I just saw this on the internet, it's better to give them a call.
