Buying a New Car in Manila, need to SHIP to Cebu

Hi, I was tasked by a family member to buy a new car here in Manila but I need to bring it to Cebu City afterwards.

I really dont have any idea how to do this; thus I need your help.

Is there shipping company that accepts car or Im thinking shipping lines... what are the reliable and safe shipping lines that have the Manila-Cebu route.

Or can I buy a ticket to go to Cebu by sea and have the car with me as my baggage?

What about those RoRo options?

Also, what are the ongoing rates per respective option?


I already searched the forum and i cannot seem to find related information.

major shipping lines do ship from manila to other parts of the country. prices dati around 30-40t inclusive of freight insurance pero full size SUV yun.

much better just use the RORO, from Batangas to Calapan to Caticlan Port(Aklan) di ka pa uubos ng 7k sa pasahe kasama na ang tao. Pagbaba mo ng caticlan punta ka ng Iloilo may isa pa atang RORO papuntang Cebu(check mo na lang yung site ng RORO yung sistema)

Just Remember:

Magdala ka ng at least limang photocopy ng OR/CR
Make sure maayos ang pag park mo at yung pagkakalapat ng gulong sa lock
At magdala ka ng Bonamine Kontra Byahilo....hehehe

You can take the car to Aboitiz to ship it directly to Cebu. I did that a couple of times but shipped them to Ozamis City instead.

Question, why not buy the car in Cebu instead of going to Manila to buy?
