July 28th, 2011 05:14 PM #1What's the fastest way to Bagac, Bataan from Manila???
NLEX then exit San Fernando, use the old highway to Subic and turn left in Dinalupihan instead of right???
NLEX then SCTEX all the way to Subic then down the Bataan Peninsula via Mariveles????
Looking at Googlemaps if one wants a long boring drive then it's SCTEX but if you'd like a handling course then the old highway to the Dambana ng Kagitingan is the way to go...
Your thoughts gurus....

Taking SCTEX would cost you an additional 25 kms if you enter at Mabalacat then exit at Dinalupihan. Of course plus the toll.
I suggest that you exit at San Fernando and take the Gapan-Olongapo road instead. It's free, shorter distance and DPWH had upgraded the highway into 4 lanes. You can also avoid the traffic at Sta.Ana using the Lubao Diversion road (thanks to GMA). Travel time is almost the same. (Believe me, we did a simultaneous travel time comparison using 2 cars and GPSs starting from SM San Fernando)
