bro, took you 13 hours to go to banaue from taytay? did you have many stopovers?

on the route from banawe to sagada, can you pls describe the road condition? is it mostly gravel? mud? is it something that will leave your car or SUV squeaking afterwards?

need some answers asap as i plan to go there next weekend. i dont know whether we need to leave the vehicle in banawe or take it all the way to sagada.
tnx for any reply from anyone.

banawe to sagada is around 65-67km, you'll be passing by mt polis then to bontoc then last stretch of ascent to sagada. road condition, it usually rains in mt polis. there are still some areas wherein only one vehicle can pass by, it'll be mostly dirt road with rocky portions all throughout, but last time i was there dec 2007 ginagawa na yung ibang portions ng road, not safe to travel at night kasi alot of blind curves and it gets foggy at mt polis.

there's a gas station at bontoc as its a thriving town na, dont miss eating at the yogurt house at sagada and visit the french baker aklay. enjoy and drive safe

every year we mountain bike from banawe to sagada, but last year we decided to do baguio-sagada instead

thanks a lot for this reply.
if it rains there often then it means there's mud and small landslides from time to time. i guess we wont take the car there anymore.
