Antipolo (Tikling) to C5 - alternative routes to avoid the heavy Ortigas Ave traffic

Hi,

To all those familiar and regularly traversing Antipolo to Ortigas CBD area, do you have alternate routes to travel back and forth between Antipolo (Tikling area) and Pasig C5 area, especially weekdays during rush hour.

Or other tips?

Would appreciate your help.

From Ortigas after Honda and Mandaue, turn left to Hunters ROTC. Left at A Bonifacio and at the corner where Save More is (that's Parola), turn right. Follow the flow of traffic through Midtown until you get out at East Bank Road. Then turn left at Legaspi Bridge crossing Floodway towards Rainforest. Use Stella Maris until you get out at C5 fronting Hypermart.

Do you suggest to always take this route during rush hour or depende?

Or instead of turning left at Legaspi Bridge, just go straight then turn left at Manggahan then Rosario-C5. Based on my experience, its 10-15mins faster compared to passing thru Stella Maris.

How about coming back from C5 going to Antipolo? Is the same route possible and recommended?
