I have a Honda CRV model 2003. I want to plus size my wheels with a set of Rota P45R rims (Specs: 18x9.5 offset +30) I'm planning to use 255/45 tires. Would the rims and tires fit my ride?
Any opinions? Would I have any rubbing problems or handling and performance issues? I really love those P45Rs! Thanks

mashado ata malapad bro. i think 18x8 would be the best fit for your CRV. then mate it with 235/50 tires.

bro, I've seen a Toyota Rav4 having these P45R rims with 255/45 tires.

Hindi ba pareho ng fitment and CRV and RAV4?

mmm... I think it will fit with the 30 offset, pag available yung offset 24 subukan mo rin, it will give you that beefy look since the wheels will be poking out of the wheelwells.

    Plus: pogi points, better handling.

    Downside: lalakas consumo sa gasolina

Nice! So I don't have to adjust anything for them to fit, right?

I'm just concerned about rubbing issues, especially when turning fully.

The gas consumption is not much of a concern for me since I work for a company who shoulders all my fuel expenses. Hehe!

With the right offset it should fit without doing anything drastic. BTW you can fit 235s on 18 x 8.5s

For those who have used or are still using 9.5s on their ride (especially SUVs like RAV4, CRV, etc.), please share your insights on fitting the rims.

What did you do (if any) to fit the rims? Rubbing problems?

Your insights on this would be very helpful. Thanks!

a-dub, my mistake, available size for P45R is 18 x 9.5 offset 30. wala pala yung 18 x 8.5, atleast according to the catalog I have here.

    iLuv,

    Just what I thought.

Anyway, nice looking Xtrail with P45Rs! Just the look that I wanted.

I'm having these rims on my ride next week, I'm more confident now that they would fit, considering that they fir the Rav4 and Xtrail.

Correct me if I'm wrong, these rides have the similar wheel fitment with the CRV right?

I believe they have similar wheel fitment. Like what I said before, test fit before buying.

The owner of that X-trail told me that there is no rubbing in the wheelwell and the tires don't hit the shocks although the gap is just millimeters it shouldn't be a problem.

    iLuvDetailing,

I forgot to ask, did the owner of the X-trail do anything to have the rims fitted? Any adjustments? Camber?

P45R's kasya sa RAV4 2nd gen without rubbing issues. However, with a 9.5 width, expect a heavy price tag on the tires.

Can you give me an idea as to how much 255/45 tires with 9.5 width would cost? What specific brands are good?
