last time I checked for a 255/45 for 9.5 width around 9-10k na. yun 235/55 for 18x7.5 is 7-8k bridgestones yun. pero maganda yun p45r, astig yan.

why not opt for p45fs? I think kasya yan and you can mount thicker tires pa.

but if you decide on p45r's with 255/45, I extremely sugget you test fit . try on the tires and wheels esp up front tapos turn your steering wheel to and fro and check carefully for any rubbing.

    try second hand tires

I've seen Rav 4 with a P45F, parang bitin siya, doesn't give you that beefy look that P45R gives your car. But thats just my preference.

P45F are also available in 18 x 8.5s if am not mistaken.

    iLuv,

That's right. The P45Rs spokes are more embossed and mas astig talaga tumayo, plus the 9.5 width.

    Cardo,

Thanks for the tips. I'm definitely going for P45Rs at this point. They'll give that beefy look that I want.

Guys, I already have the rims with me. I'm just having a hard time looking for 255/45 r18 9.5width tires right now. The only brands that are available are Falken - P11,000+ and Dunlop P8,000+.

Please help me out on this, where can I get tires with a wide selection of brands?

I prefer Bridgestone sana since I still have 2 Bridgestone tires na ok pa yung thread - pwede pa sa rear. Yung around the P8,000 budget sana.

Re: Dunlops, a friend of mine has the 235 50R18's, he told me that he wants to sell these tires because he is not satisfied with the ride quality medyo matagtag. Tire pressure is around 28-30psi, not as sticky as Nitto or maybe Bridgestone but it lasts longer so there is a tradeoff. Mind you, the ride quality thing is purely subjective so weigh your options and ofcourse budget before making the purchase.

I don't know about Falkens maybe other members can chip in.

I agree that judging ride quality is subjective, different passengers - different opinion. Any shops where I could check out some good tires at reasonable costs? Bridgestone tires are my pick for now.
