Maganda in terms of looks and performance.

    Price is not a problem.

Yokohama and Bridgestone AT's is in the last spot for me.

BTW, size would be 265/70/16 or 275/70/16 for 05 Isuzu trooper local 4x2.

    TIA
if price is not a problem, the best for me will be michelin ltx a/t2.

Did not have any problems with my Good Year Wrangler AT/SA. Got it for 6500 a year ago. Bang for the buck. But phased out na yata

Guys question lang po, lahat ba ng all terrain tires maingay sa highway compare sa h/t? My brand ba na A/T na tahimik sa highway? Thanks

Hi. Helping a friend choose between these two 265/70r17 A/T tires:
    - Cooper Discoverer AT3
    - Nexen Roadian AT2

Will be used on a new Ranger that will have about 90% on-road duty traveling from Bulacan to Makati daily, possibly paired with an aftermarket 9inch wide rim.

The Nexens are cheaper by about P1k per tire. Haven't seen both in the flesh though. Read from the TSCP board that they recommend the Coopers, though also heard separately that they're prone to blow-outs. Any truth to that?

Which one should my friend get?

    Thanks.

Get the Cooper. At least thats my suggestion. No horror stories from pals that use 'em. Id get them too if they were available in my size/price range

Thanks Bro. Actually, I've been partial toward Dunlop for Jap brands coz they come out cheaper among their peers. Plus most of them I've been lucky with. Except for the LM RV 501 on 2 different rides, with 2 different sizes. Anyhow, the AT3 does look the macho part. It comes out more expensive vs the Cooper though, but let me present it to my friend.

Guys noob question here.. If the tire is an all terrain tire, does that mean it would have less comfort in regards to the ride?

Not really. Para sa akin kasi, subjective ang comfort. A/T user din ako kasi Pajero sasakyan ko pero ngayon, naka H/T tires ako. Wala naman akong naramdaman na difference. Road noise may difference, kasi mas tahimik ang H/T pero still, subjective ito para sa akin, dahil yun noise difference is very minimal to negligible siya for me.

Try mo Goodyear Wrangler HP. More HT than AT tire but all weather naman. Tahimik vs a pure AT tire imho.
