fuse lang pala nung power socket ang culprit. noticed my phone wasn't charging and nung binunot ko ang fuse eh open circuit na pala.

wala na yung manual pero IIRC the compressor exceeds the 10A limit for the socket. dunno bakit ngayon lang nangyari yun after years of operation, might modify with alligator clips na lang direct to batt
that fuse can blow for a variety of reasons, none of which is related to your tire inflator.

my car's fuse blew, when all we plug into it is the usb charger.
yet upon replacing the fuse, plugging the usb again did not result in blown fuse.

Been scouting for a portable air compressor... I saw a michellin brand yung round or circle ang hugis sa SM for about 2700 and sa Blade OMP ang brand around 3999.00. Tried back reading this thread but no one mentioned these two brands.... I will also scout that Elevo air compressor parang mas mura... for the OMP brand ito yung link OMP Air Compressor with Light OMP414 – blade.ph

    i have elevo.
it looks very similar to the unit pictured above.
    matibay.
unlike my other previous electric inflators, ilang gamit na, kasing-galing pa rin sa nung bago.
it was on sale for 1700 bucks, back then.

Mga bossing, meron akong nakita na physical store dito sa Cebu na nagbebenta ng mga Total power tools, etc. (Total yung brand name) and since I am interested to buy a auto air compressor, nakita ko ito : Auto Air Compressor - Air Tools - TOTAL TOOLS and the price is just a little over 1K. Warranty is parang 3 months lang. All metal sya... Has anyone tried this?

I have also a related query about yung amperes. Ang nasa Fortuner owner's manual ko ang nakalagay about sa power is 12V 10 amperes yung sa cigarette lighter plug... Yung Coido, Elevo, OMP and other brands of air compressor ang nakalagay sa box (specs) is 12, 15 and even 18 amperes... On the other hand yung Total ang naka lagay is 10amps... Would it be safe to have a higher rating (amperes) 12, 15 and even 18 amperes na air compressor i-connect sa 2V 10 amperes yung sa cigarette lighter plug?

Noob here...parensya na... Just want to be safe...

    baka meron 15A 12v socket... 180w

those compressor over the current rating might blow the fuse...

fuses blow because of higher current required..

That inflator looks like it has battery clips included. Mas maigi siguro kung i-connect mo directly sa battery instead of the cig lighter plug para bypassed ang cig lighter fuse.

    Regarding sa current...

Ang current (measured in amperes) ay "hinihigop" ng load (in this case, yung inflator) mula sa cig lighter plug mo. Anything na hihigop ng lagpas 10A from your cig plug will cause the fuse to blow. On paper, pasok sa cig lighter rating ang Total inflator so it should be okay.

Regarding your last question, baligtad ang intindi mo, it's safer to get something with an equal or lower ampere rating.
