cost saving scheme: trade the stocks in. and then go for used but branded wheel and tire packages.![]()
medyo limited choices for 16" rims. browse ka sa www.rotawheels.com for designs.
Yep, R16 is very limited in market. Now considering 205/50 R17 'Michelin' on NFS2, technically compatible kaya at babagay for Altis 'quicksilver'? It looks elegant with Vios (ref Toyota Motorshow). Pros & cons pls! Ano other tire suitable?

dito baka may magustuhan ka!
55R16...for me medyo alanganin hitsura nun. I'd go for a Series 50R17 or 45R17. Don't go for 40's medyo manipis na yun for Phil roads, tagtag na nun. Try a shop that will fit the wheels for you and see which profile looks better.
kung 16s, try mo mag Rota J.Spl on 205/45/16 tires. but 16s look kinda small on the altis...
mejo alanganin nga ang 16s for an altis. 17s ka na lang. kasya pa rin ata ang 50 series dun, if you're concerned about the potholes.
Talo ka sa trade-in. Best to just spend the money, then sell the stock wheels seperately to an owner of an older Corolla who wants your stock rims (the current 15's look kinda nice on older Corollas).
If you don't mind the somewhat smallish size of 16's on your Altis, go for that and get a good set of GR80 Turanzas or Bridgestone Potenza RE070s. They should give you better grip than stock (stock grip for the 1.6... sucks!!!) while not being too noisy.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
