looking for recommendations for 265/65R17 AT tires, when the time comes that i need to replace them.
what are the best bang-for-the-buck brands?
anything good in the 5k-7k price range?
this is going to be used 80% city (daily use), 20% out-of-town trips.

January 29th, 2020 11:30 AM #6I've been doing some research on SUV-sized tires (stock sizes) and have found the following brands to be in the 7,000 peso range: Nexen, GT, and Toyo.
Of course there are other brands that come in at around 5,000 pesos but the above brands strike me as more "reputable" and worth the extra cost without going way over budget.
It also helps to browse Lazada and Shopee just to see indicative rates and to find out who the dealers are in Metro Manila, then call or visit the shops in person.
