Low profile wheels for Mazda Tribute..

Is it possible to upgrade the current 215/70 R16 of the Tribute to something like 255/55 R18? Im looking for wheels that would look best for the Tribute but will not hit the sides of the wheel well while driving..What design would look best on the Tribute? Many thanks..

wow..i like the paint job on the tribute with 18s..it just doesnt say what size tires he put on..sayang. i think 18s are the way to go but im thinking whether to go 255 or smaller.

What does the size mean when you click the details? 18" x 9.5" means rim 18" but what does the 9.5" mean? Yun ba yung maximum width of the tire you can install? :confused:

Still confused whether 255 will fit the tribute..:confused:

18x9.5 spec wheel: 18 = rim diameter and 9.5 = rim width.

how will i know the widest tire size that a wheel can accomodate? since the 255 is approx. 10" can it fit a wheel that is 9.5" wide?

Just to settle this question though, is there a shop i can go to that can help fit a wheel and tire to find out whether it will actually fit the wheel well? Is there a place that will actually put on tires and wheels to test? :confused:

Maliit lang discrepancy nila 0.25" on either side of the rim. Di gano halata lalo na pag nahanginan pa ng matigas.

Most tire/mags shops offer free fitting on one corner to check for fender scrubbing. Kaso sinisilip lang nila while the vehicle is in normal compression.

Just called the number in the concept one website and for all Tributes out there the wheel specs are:

5 holes, PCD=114, offset=40 or 45.

Problem is that they dont have a lot of 18" mags with these specs in stock.:dead:

I did a search in the forums and it seems that rota mags might be a good option as well..

I tried inquiring but it seems that the wheels they have are 18x7.5 or 8 :dead: which is a bit smaller than the ones in concept one.

Sorry to raise the question again but can 255 width tires (255mm = approx. 10") fit in a 7.5" wheel?

thanks kewlryds! parang ganyan yung tinitignan ko na rota mags..its the same style and i think its in chrome also..(model is called style 5)
