i'm thinking of upgrading from the stock 15" steel rims to 17" alloy wheels for our Innova for "pogi" points pero ayoko din naman po masacrifice yung ride quality, FC nya... ano po pro's and con's nya? salamat po

    Hindi pwedeng walang ma sacrifice.

Ma'am liv, definitely your fuel consumption will be sacrificed, pero siguro konte lang and also the riding comfort also kasi pag nagbago ka ng rim definitely mas manipis yung gulong mo kaya medyo magiging matagtag sya. Advantage naman nito bukod sa pogi points mas maganda ang lapat ng gulong kahit sa mga tight curves. Anyway madami namang nag-upgrade and no regrets naman naging desisyon nila.

Looks like you really want 16" rims instead

Can't have both, ride quality and fuel consumption both decline with an increase in wheel size.

guys... thanks for your inputs... i guess i really can't have the best of both worlds.hehehe ... medyo convinced na ko regarding slight differences sa FC and ride quality... concern ko na lang ngayon is i may not be able to accomodate as many passengers as compared to nung stock sya during out of town trips.

    Hi Liv,

If I may add to what I posted sa site natin, mas maganda ang ride nung puno kami. After ko mapalitan yung tires, punta kami kaagad ng Tagaytay fully loaded. 8 adults (medium to heavy built) and 1 kid. Mas smooth a ride at kayang-kaya.
