bros, where can i find cheap but quality magwheels? Ano klaseng tires ang okae? ano bagay sa City na mags, gusto ko kasi bawasan pagka conspicuous ng porma nya eh...

lagyan ko kaya ng spoiler? average price ng mags? may nagtrad-in ba ng stock? by how much?

Wala na atang mag-wheels ngayon. Masyadong malambot ang magnesium.

Aluminum alloy wheels na ang uso. Pero siguro nag-stick na ang term na 'mags'.

Yung mga 15" na Rota nasa 20K kasama na ang mags at pag-trade-in mo ng lumang wheels and tires mo.

Lalo lang magiging conspicuous ang porma niyan kapag nilagyan mo ng spoiler. Keep it clean. Kung wala pang door mouldings ang City mo, better get some bago mabugbog ang pinto niyan sa parking lot.

Yung chrome ay yung finish ng wheels. Meaning chrome plated siya. May chrome plated na aluminum alloy wheels, may chromeplated din na steel wheels.

Yung aluminum naman, yun ang material na ginamit for making the wheel. Pwedeng polished aluminum, brushed aluminum, painted finish or kung ano anong pang finish.

Para sa city na luma- Daming 14" or 15" na Honda JDM mags na bagay jan. i.e. Ferio rims, SiR rims, etc..etc..
tapos 1.5" drop, ayos na.

Wag na spoiler, medyo old skul yan.

Pero kung yung bagong City, kelangan nga ata naka 16" or 17" mags ka, medyo malaki kasi sya eh. Tapos kelangan lowered na rin, taas kasi ng clearance eh.

u can get a set of 15s for about 9-13k, 16s about 12-16k, 17s mga 14k-up... either rota or silverwind ang brand. ung concept one mas mahal ng konti and most of their models are chrome

sa evangelista or blumentritt ok mag shopping for rims

imho lang di ako natutuwa sa chrome finish. i'd personally go for your painted silver, gunmetal, or bronze depending on the color of your ride

when it comes to tires, a lot of people would recommend Advan Neovas, personally i'm rolling on Toyo T1-S. medyo pricey ang neovas

Do you know any specific stores/shops you could refer me to? I own a city '04 satellite silver ang color..

more suggestions sa bagay na wheels will be appreciated.. =)

IMHO, only rota has good quality. silverwind alloy wheels are way way behind in terms of technology and build process. just try to lift the silverwind wheels with one hand and compare it with same size rotas. man they are HEAVY. go for rota if i were you.

Ang disadvantage lang ng locals ay weight. They are slightly heavier. Pero kung hindi ka naman karerista, they will do.

Ang tibay ng mga Rota. They are the OEM supplier of most local assemblers including BMW (in select models).

Yung Rota na nasa Pajero ko bilog pa din hanggang ngayon. Even after all the punishment I have put them through.

Ang shop lang na alam ko ay Sonny's OK sa Banawe. I don't think they can match the prices at Evangelista pero ok ang service. Hindi katulad ng Miller West Ave. (see Goon Squad).

I just upgraded to 17s, Rota Conquest ang kinuha ko, nasa 16,500 sa Evangelista. IMO mas ok Rota kaysa Silverwind...diba nagkaroon ng mga topics dito about Silverwind, madali daw mabasag. Rota pang export ang quality. Kahit mga friends ko sa States, gamit nila Rota philippine made. Concept One kasi nasa 25,000 and above presyo nila.

Ang maganda sa local brands, pag nasira yung isang piraso, pwede ka bumili ng 1 lang, oorder ka lang. Sa imported ata by set ang bentahan eh.

yung silverwind ko dati, ilang beses na nahulog sa lubak pero di na-oblong. un nga lang, nabasag naman sa gilid. everytime na nahuhulog sa lubak may bagong crack... parang sobrang lutong...

kosei na 15" gamit ko ngayon... don't know kung local ito or imported pero i got it at 10K (1 set) 5 yrs ago. tibay sobra. kaya nga di ko mapalitan.

personally i'd go for rota polished aluminum wheels. walang paint kaya natural ang dating.

not sure sa quality ng concept one or evo. medyo expensive but are they worth the price?

look at this link that ozcity posted - the black city (no spoiler) with 18's looks pretty good - nice clean look. IMO it looks better than the other black one with a spoiler.
