"tires are not bananas", by michelin.
interesting read.
Wow grabeh ang galing naman ng tire na yan. baka depende din yan sa driving style sir.
Mga idol, may tanong sana ako, I'm getting a new hyundai accent 1.4 GL MT next week. Tanong ko lang sana kung pwede ko agad i travel from Mindanao to Luzon which is more than 1300KM distance? 1000 ang alam kong PMS, di po kaya ito makaapekto sa performance ng car, considering na nasa break in period pa lang then ganun na kalayo ang biyahe?
Salamat po. Pasensiya na this is my first car. Thanks
Wrong thread for this. But IMHO, 300kms overdue will not be detrimental to the car. Though you may want to have that oil change done in the nearest casa once you arrive for warranty purposes.
Rotating tires helps avoid uneven wear.

Thank you po.

Well, you do need to use the car for it to "break in". [emoji16] Your owner's manual will have detailed instructions on the limitations of driving under break in period. But generally, as long as you don't flog it to its limits too much, you will be fine.

Our Granvia currently uses 195R15C Nankang NK Van CW25 8 ply tires. They were installed sometime 2017 and have now ran about 10tkms. The fronts are holding up pretty well, but I am surprised to see that the rears are wearing out even faster, and by a pretty large margin too. The van is driven without passengers on most days, and is very rarely heavily laden. Granted it is usually driven hard and is a rather torquey rear wheel drive vehicle, but this is honestly the first time I have had the rears wear out faster than the fronts in any vehicle we've had. Any thoughts?

Dumudulas ba lagi? Only thing I can think of is accelerated wear from wheelspin from loss of traction.
