    di ko din masyadong kabisado to pero d ba may ban na on importing cars? or sabi-sabi pa lang ang hindi pa actually implemented?

    nagbasa nga ako sa website ng Bureau of Customs, eh hindi nga ata pwede magpasok. Pero wala na bang ibang paraan? I mean, kahit under the table? =)

    bawal yata ang rhd bnew and second hand imports. pwede pa yata ang lahat ng orig LHD cars.

    yup lagay lagay lang as usual..at sa sobrang daming "added on" na gastos hindi na worth it...masyado ng mahal..

    Besides from the shipping cost, if I remember the taxes right, it is 100% of the value of the car. They are broken down to three different taxes but still amount to 100% of the car's value. The maximum depreciation that you get from an older car [five yrs or older] is 50% of the purchased price. Unless talaga na may kilala ka. Otherwise, it is really not worth it.
