not that much except for a slight difference in speedometer readings.... but aesthetically, it would be better if you go from 14 to 16. mas kita sya.

Pareho tayo bro. My car currently has the stock 14" rims & in the process of upgrading to 15" alloys. Opted to get Rota wheels. The stock tires were sized 175/70/14 (602mm OD) & will put 195/60/15 (615mm OD) just so I don't scrape the humps in my village anymore. The best fit tires for 15" rims are 195/55/15 (595mm), looks really sporty.

I guess mas lalaki ang gas consumption because of heavier tires and mags.

thats correct... but aesthetically for me, stay on stocks unless you have plans on changing the disc brakes also and the rear drum to disc type if equipped..

i just find it funny to see big mags on stock small disc brakes

but thats for me, as they say, beauty is in the eye of the beholder

if the difference is small, it won't have a notable increase in gas consumption.
    example:

stock is 185/65/14 and you are changing it to 195/60/15 (or 195/55/15), baka wala pang 5% increase in consumption yan.

Whats the difference betwen 195.60.15 and 195.55.15? Yan ba yung lapad ng tires?

195 is the lapad. 55 is the diameter.
