I have the tendency to choose Yokohama as it is locally manufactured here. Why?

update lang: i finally chose a set of sailun terramax a/t tires. sa mga nabasa ko na aussie reviews maganda daw ang performance sa kanila kaya i decided to try this out na lang din. and maganda iyong deal na binigay sa akin kaya hard to refuse

so far ok ang performance niya nung nag out-of-town ako this weekend. tahimik naman at hindi madulas sa ulan. and maganda ang appearance niya, relatively speaking.

hindi pa ako maka decide kung ano kunin ko bro eh. few hundreds lang naman actually difference nila all-in-all pero kasi hindi ko alam kung malaki ang difference nila in terms of road noise.

kung relatively same lang ang produce nila na road noise baka mag a/t na lang uli ako

Second hand ko nabili monty at 11,800 km now after 1 year and 4 months 34500 km. Makapal pa nga e. My plan is this coming December or early next year palit goma. Sabay kasi upod pads ngayon and upcoming 40T kms PMS which madugo din. Ipon muna hehehe

medyo serviceable pa naman ang treads niya pero hindi na din ako comfortable kapag long drives...especially in this kind of off & on wet weather we're having. and nagpalit na din ako considering sa tingin ko mag mamamahal pa mga goma in the near future because of inflation and the dollar exchange. inunahan ko na

Wow! Thanks for this! Helpful indeed!

My stock mags specs for tires is 215 / 50 R17, is there a negative effect if I will use 225 / 50 R17 & go against the stock specs? Just curious.

As long as tire diameter does not exceed 5% difference, you will be fine. You can use either 225/45/17 or 225/50/17, difference is just around 2%.
