Any help will be appreciated. Thanks!

July 10th, 2009 12:45 PM #5Nagpahangin ako sa shell kanina naging 29 from yesterdays 30. :-( pacheck ko nalang siguro. Actually napansin ko to mga 2 weeks ago thats why I asked kung normal ba kasi lagi nalang mukhang flat ang tires ko. Could this also be a result kung di align yung wheels mo? I'm planning to take this kasi sa servitek for wheel alignment may kabig kasi sa kaliwa. Thanks sa lahat.

Check if it's the bleeder or the tire itself. I do my own maintenance most of the time when I have the available tools at hand. Simple check up lang. Pump your tire, Jack up your car, take out the tire, have a pale of water which is bubbling with soap ready and pour it slowly at the entire wheel specially at the bleeder. If you see something bubbling then you can identify kung saan agad yung leak. If you have a repair kit like the one being used by Shell, I purchased mine sa hardware then you can simply repair it yourself.

Plenty of possibilities, pero based sa post mo from 30 naging 29, hence 1 psi lang binaba - should be alright. Pero if continuous ang drop from 29 to significantly lower psi values in a week's time, then there's a lot of possibilities:
1. May bengkong (or bingkong don't really know the correct spelling of this one) ang mags mo.
2. Faulty tire installation.
3. You need to have your tires vulcanized (baka may maliit lang na butas na mabusising vulcanizer lang ang makakapansin, if so, soft patch lang po ah? Wag tusok or plantsa method)
4. Panay lubak sa dinadaanan mo; and
5. Plenty of other factors that the previous posters may have mentioned some of it.
Pero kung 29 lang siya consistently and tumatagal naman ng buwan (like mine), I think it's fine. Mine's same as GH, I don't have to frequently visit the AIR/WATER section of a gas station for refilling my tires with air - minsan 2 months pa ako bago magpacheck (with constant checks before I leave from home kung visually ba e mukhang mahina yung mga hangin ng gulong ko).

Chances are you have a slow leak - probably even a puncture. Bring it to a tire shop ASAP.
Moral of the story is check your tire pressures regularly so you can see these things happening. You should check them at least twice a month. Hwag tatamad-tamad, dyan nakasalalay ang buhay ninyo.
And get a good tire pressure gauge. The Stetho-Gauge tire pressure gauge is very consistent, it's about PhP350. Money well spent IMO.
