Ok naman locally made Yokohama OE tires for me. Yung sa last gen Innova nga lang hard compound kaya di ko nagustuhan. Madulas sya compared sa iba but price and tread wear is on the good side.

Our X-trail also has locally made Yokohamas as OE. Imho, the medium hard compound suits its relatively soft suspension. Still, I'd like a bit more grip. On the plus side, I've gone through a couple of really bad pot holes at speed and still no separation. 🤞

Meron kasi mga cheap brand na copy paste lang walang R&D, quality control or even certifications. Also kahit na sa web site ng isang tire manufacturer ma assess mo na if ok ba yan, that is if meron web site. There is a reason why a product is cheap/expensive. I'm not saying na you should buy the the most expensive tire you can find, just think that being too stingy does not always mean wise.
As for me, I won't risk my safety and the folks inside my vehicle para lang maka tipid. At least mid level tire prices.

So how about Yokohoma who made locally tires being a brand name?

Choose Achilles over Westlake, Nankang, Goodride, or Federal.

I personally tried them and it exceeded my expectation for budget tires. Google it, they even have a partnership with Ferrari in Indonesia.

i replaced my tires with GT radial GTX pro 195/50/R16 (stock mags with bridgestone turanza 185/55/R16 on '12 honda jazz) after 50k kms .. 1st impression is tahimik and the grip is good both dry and wet surface..
got it 4 P3100 each.. i think bang for the buck na sya and hopefully tumagal sya tulad ng turanza..

Achilles is ok. Good grip in dry and wet and also tahimik. I got the 2233 passenger tire. good value for money but i had two tires worn prematurely. pero dahil siguro nawala sa alignment yung tires ko because of suspension problems

I go for comfort than performance, would you know alin ang mas tahimik at "malambot", Achilles or GT?

Ask ko lang sa mga naka Achilles 122 kung tama yung pag mount sa akin, kasi yung DOT info (0519) eh nasa loob. Me indicator or naka lagay po ba sa tire na "Outside" or "This side mount in" ?
    Salamat

Considering to replace my yokohama 195/55/15 to achilles atr sports 195/55/15 or achilles 122 195/65/15? The car is 2013 Avanza 1.5G (stock mags) and mostly used on paved roads at 30km/day driving(service ng children to school).

Any comments/inputs sa users ng achilles atr sports 195/55/15 or achilles 122 195/65/15?

Go Accelera over Achilles. Below is a pic of a bud's set. Same age & close to the same size as the Accelera PHIs another bud is still using. Besides normal wear on the PHIs, they're not showing any signs of surrender after 5years of use.
Those wheels pictured are now wrapped in Acceleras.

Katakot naman itsura niyan. By the way i'm using yokohama s-drive, makapal pa naman yung threads since low mileage ang usage kaso yung production date niya ay 2013 din, quota na sa sinasabing life span ng tires na nababasa ko dito sa forums, i'm worried baka biglang sumabog yung gulong due to it's age, mga bata pa naman ang sakay palagi.

May nabasa akong magandang review sa achilles atr sport kaso few years ago pa, kaya naghahanap din ako ng mga most recent users ng tire. Very tempting kasi yung promo ng achilles sport.

Kakabili ko lang nung achilles, prev ko is federal.

Laking difference kasi mas tahimik talaga ung achilles. Si Federal sobrang ingay sa mutilin na takbo
