plan to replace my wheels to 17" rims and a 205x50 R17 tyres.
my ride is a civic es.
question is, do i have to lower my springs?
di kaya sumayad gulong?

gusto ko sana mag lowering kaso baka lalo tumagtag ride ko lalo na sa likod. parang pumapalo pababa pag daan ko ng humps.

if you go +2 (15" to 17") without lowering your ride, magmumukhang SUV yan

xpac.. lowering springs.. wag taiwan.. hidne tagtag yan with gas shocks...
tama c m52 powered mag mukhang SUV pero pag ala pa pera ipon muna.. wag na wag mong papaputulin.hehehehe

pwede ka d magreplace pero medyo mataas. Observe mu mna, like sa case ko when i chaged to 225 x 55 x 17 d na pwede i lowered coz halos nakadikit na yun tires ko sa fender ko sa rear. 1" drop will do na sa iyo... check mu yun mags ko here, Red Nicky Accord Mags. 17"

tingnan ko muna hitsura bago ko magdecide kung i-lowered ko. definitely di ko paputol springs ko.
baka kasi sumayad 225x55 R17 kaya try ko muna yun x50.
saan shop ba ako makakabili ng H n R springs?
nagtanong ako sa transhow 12500 bigay sa akin. yun ba talaga price nun?

pag un kela ferman.. aka autoXer... un na talaga un.. alam ko sila distirbutor eh.. and feel ko mas mura pag transhow.hehehe

if you're starting with 195 x 60 x 15 stock, the proper way to plus-size is to reduce the tire thickness by 10 for every inch you add to rim diameter.
so the "correct" upgrade from 60 x 15 should be 40 x 17. 50 or 55 x 17 will be slightly larger overall than your stock package, which could explain the sayad factorLast edited by empy; April 25th, 2004 at 03:52 AM.

215/45/17 ka nalang kung kasya.
H&R OE drop (1") para sa ES civic sa fusionR nasa 12k para sa set.
H&R sport springs (F - 1.75", R - 1.5") nasa mga 14k, same shop as per price list sa transsport show kahapon.
For the Toyota products its likely to be the case for most of their products per the service...
