the following photos from were taken more than six months ago. naggapu baul... my bro-in-law told me that the place was formerly known as greg's (familiar ba, spear?)
the place has a meatshop out front. i think they do the slaughtering out back the lower level of the carinderia. they butcher the pigs/goats right there on the counter. the kitchen is located several steps behind that counter. i also bought a couple dozen of the longanizas for breakfast at home the following day.. they were fine with me and my son, my wife didn't exactly like it. the remaining longanizas were later taken down and brought to be sold in the cockpit in tuba (adda pallot!).

IMBALIKTAD. a bit chewy but the taste is right on the dot! panalo! i thoroughly enjoyed this one. i was already halfway through that dish when i realized that i need to take photos.
the kilawen kalding was a bit too gamey for me. i had to ask for more kalamansi for it.
this is undoubtedly the carinderia's forte. salted liempo tinuno over flaming coals. liempo couldn't get any more straightforward than this.
i have been to the restaurant several times since then. there were times that i found out that there was no food to be bought there as the owners of the place were in ilocos buying live pigs. lumned-tumpaw gayam idtoy, but it's worth dropping by to find out.
