Specifically for 10 year old Lexus ... LS 430 ... There seems to be more independent Mercedes Benz and BMW shops than Lexus ...

Any luck in finding an alternative shop (and parts source)?

Lexus Manila just quoted us Php 350K for a brake booster replacement on a 2009 LS 460.

Your option would be to order online ... just make sure it's the exact part number ... or go to HK, Singapore or Malaysia and scour the part sellers ... or you can ask Paul's Benz shop to source it for you ... check their FB page ...

Hey, thanks for the update. I know (like) Paul's thru FB.

    They dabble with Lexus?

Pulled out the car, now sitting on the driveway. Still thinking what to do.

Is it true that you have to pay some kind of membership fee with Lexus PH to buy parts if you didn't buy your Lexus brand new from them? 50k daw, just for the privilege to buy parts.

Lexus parts suppliers i think yung mga "official" toyota parts dealer sa banawe can accommodate.

The shop in UN Ave that services euro cars i think can do lexus vehicles also

Recently brought our 2017 GS350 for 10,000km PMS, brake pads needed to be replaced and was quoted 12k by Lexus Manila, I declined it and bought the brake pads through Rockauto.com, spent around 10k including shipping BUT... the price is for 4 sets of pads (2 set front, 2 set rear) against only a set of front brake pad at the casa, had it installed by our in house mechanic so no labor charges there

Wow, 10k and they already asked you to change the brake pads.

The IS350/ES350 series of Lexus uses the same 3.5L V6 engine of the older Camrys. Iba lang ata tuning. I think the ES350 uses the same platform as the Camry.

In our case, yung rear brake pads ng GS350 namin is exactly the same as our 2012 USDM Toyota Sienna

When i get consumables like oil and air filters for IS350, I always say for camry or alphard if they are asking for the car make. In my experiences, stores tend to add a few pesos or hundreds for "luxury" brand consumables.

Oil filter of FJ cruiser, Prado 4.0, and IS350 is exactly the same as well but different part numbers.
