what you guys think/experience about the kia pregio in terms of:
interior
exterior
ride (comfort)
fuel consumption
maintanance
engine power

nga pala in terms of the interior there are three models of the pregio, RS, GS and LS being the top

my friend kasi ako na gusto bumili ng van at choice niya pregio, nagtatanong sa akin kung ok daw e hindi pa naman ako nakakadrive ng ride na to.

Top of the line ang LS. I almost bought Alan Caidic's back in '98 (medyo ninerbyos ako nun so brand new Besta kinuha ko). Dati puro LS lang ang mga Pregio dito sa atin. Tapos naglabas ng GS a.k.a. Festival then yung pinaka bare ay iyong RS or the RS Enterprise (full cabin trim unlike the RS na puro bakal ang interior).

Problema talaga diyan ang interior. Yung mga sidings madali matuklap. Hindi ko alam kung pano ito aayusin short of replacing all the side panels. Meron ding mga squeaks and rattles pero madali lang naman hanapin.

Exterior: It's one of the ***iest one-box vans on the road today. Nakakaaliw pa kasi bumubukas yung front panel niya pero wala naman doon ang makina. Hehehe.

Overheat daw ang problema niyan. Pero never akong nagka-overheat sa Kia Besta ko dati. Ewan ko lang kung dahil ba sa 2.2 lang ang makina nung sa akin.

sir otep, smooth din ba ang ride nito? claim kasi nila 'yong pregio daw ay hindi naka-leaf spring. ride ba nito ay smooth as the grandia?

just saw the new pregio in pasig last week. new front but the same old body.

btw, is kia already officially offering it or is that a gray unit that I saw?

Officially relased na ang new-look Pregio. May thread dito sa Diesel Forum about it. Siguro a few pages back. May mga interior changes na din.

Sana naayos na yung mga sidings na lumolobo.

4d56 turbo is a local market option. Locally, we still get the usual 80bhp 2.7 lump.

Pansin ko lang ha, bakit kaya halos lahat ng newer van models ay may mga nguso or parang snubbed nose na (e.g. kia, nissan, toyota)?

Meron kami Pregio. One matic, one manual. Yung matic, 8000 km lang tinakbo when we bought it, yung manual bago. Yung matic pinaltan na ng transmission. Overheating ang problema niyan. Yung manual ok naman. Napa-minor overhaul na coz mataas na milyahe. Best appeal ng Pregio is the size and the ride.

Yung waswit ng bespren ko, ganyan ang sasakyan. They sold it after leas than a year. Ang naging problem nila aircon: laging sira. Dehins second hand yun. Korekek si bossing garyq, the pregio has a good ride. 'Drove it once. Nga lang, notice ko din n madaling tumaas ang temp.

Huwat?! 30T?! Namputsa, price na ng isang Toyota Starlet yun ah. 'Dehins pala pumasa sa U.S. DMV standards yang Pregio. Pero sabi nung kasamahan ko na Kenyan todits, ok daw review ng Pregio sa Bayan ng mga Gorilla (Africa).

The Pregio was never tested for U.S. market use if I'm not mistaken so I doubt that it would fail (since walang test). hehehe.

Meron kaming Besta dati binenta na rin namin kase dumadami na problem mas ok yung Pregio na pinost ni cyberdoc95 mas malaki yung ilaw niya..
Buti na lang hindi Pregio ang binili namin yan pa naman ang balak namin bilhin dati..

Hmmm. Apparently, I got the wrong info on that U.S. test thing. Thanks for the correction! It goes to show that good sources do screw-up at times.
