Help! to all kia cd 5 owners

Hi there! im a newbie here in tsikot forum, i recently bought a second hand kia pride hatchback '94 sa presyo na prang bumili ka lang ng mumurahing laptop or hi end na cellphone..madami narin me nparepair and replacements, timing belt, brake lining, synchronizer, gauges, signal lights. 2 rear tires etc,
It running all smoothly except for the times na nagloloko wiper minsan, its quite tolerable, matipid sa gas, okay nman ang aircon, okay parin arangkada nya di pa nya me tinirik kahit nilusong ko sa baha.
My problem is, amoy gas sya specially pag nkatigil lang, npansin ko na sya before pero dinisregard ko lang assuming na mejo luma na kasi sya. i checked for leaks pero wala naman. im just a new driver kya windang pko for any unusual smells or kalampags sa kia ko, i spent almost 10k in repars n replacements(kasama na acessories like matting, seat covers, etc.)
Can you please help me why kya sya amoy gas?im so scared n pumunta agad sa talyer kasi bka maloko ako, thats why im seeking your advise first before i make a move.....

sa akin ganun din. wala namang nakitang abnormal mekaniko ko. wala ring problem sa mileage. baka naka eternal open ang choke mo. anyway, trace mo kung galing sa carb yung amoy, if so, normal lang siguro. unless may magsabing hindi. hehehe

yung amoy nga pala is galing sa engine bay lang. kung binuksan ko at sumilip ako sa loob, dun ko lang naamoy yung gasolina. kung naamoy mo from outside na malakas, trace mo fuel lines mo or gas filler cap.

My kia is okay now, i opted for a second opinion regarding sa leaks kasi sabi either bka maluwag lang ung cap, or fuel injector. Binaba ang tangke ng gas, then they found out na may leaks na dun kasi luma na, ngtry kami hanap surplus na nga 5k pa presyo, nagsuggest mekaniko ko na pagawa nlang kmi ng gas tank na bago, hinulma nlang kasi di na daw kya ihinang ung luma.So far okay na sya ngaun.

Hay naku hirap talaga pag 2nd hand sasakyan sakit a ulo pati sa bulsa magpagawa.

nangyari sa akin ang ganyan...pero not the same vehicle, the culprit was that the body had a hole wherein duon pumapasok ang singaw ng gas.

the second situation was merun leak yung carburator... so dumadaan sa vent yung amoy ng gas.

hi guys im new here. i have a 2000 pride, had some things done na, topoverhaul, change carb jet to a smaller one, pero my problem is ang lakas pa rin sa gas. binili ko nga to para tipid pero from my calculations 8to10 km/L ang consumption nya. ano kaya problem, minsan amoy gas din nga i suspect a leak din. im planning to change carb kaya or change the engine un pang picanto kung kasya. please help or i'll be forced to sell it and just buy a new car. pero i'd really want to maintain it. tnx
