Help! to all kia cd 5 owners

Hi there! im a newbie here in tsikot forum, i recently bought a second hand kia pride hatchback '94 sa presyo na prang bumili ka lang ng mumurahing laptop or hi end na cellphone..madami narin me nparepair and replacements, timing belt, brake lining, synchronizer, gauges, signal lights. 2 rear tires etc,
It running all smoothly except for the times na nagloloko wiper minsan, its quite tolerable, matipid sa gas, okay nman ang aircon, okay parin arangkada nya di pa nya me tinirik kahit nilusong ko sa baha.
My problem is, amoy gas sya specially pag nkatigil lang, npansin ko na sya before pero dinisregard ko lang assuming na mejo luma na kasi sya. i checked for leaks pero wala naman. im just a new driver kya windang pko for any unusual smells or kalampags sa kia ko, i spent almost 10k in repars n replacements(kasama na acessories like matting, seat covers, etc.)
Can you please help me why kya sya amoy gas?im so scared n pumunta agad sa talyer kasi bka maloko ako, thats why im seeking your advise first before i make a move.....

sa akin ganun din. wala namang nakitang abnormal mekaniko ko. wala ring problem sa mileage. baka naka eternal open ang choke mo. anyway, trace mo kung galing sa carb yung amoy, if so, normal lang siguro. unless may magsabing hindi. hehehe

yung amoy nga pala is galing sa engine bay lang. kung binuksan ko at sumilip ako sa loob, dun ko lang naamoy yung gasolina. kung naamoy mo from outside na malakas, trace mo fuel lines mo or gas filler cap.

My kia is okay now, i opted for a second opinion regarding sa leaks kasi sabi either bka maluwag lang ung cap, or fuel injector. Binaba ang tangke ng gas, then they found out na may leaks na dun kasi luma na, ngtry kami hanap surplus na nga 5k pa presyo, nagsuggest mekaniko ko na pagawa nlang kmi ng gas tank na bago, hinulma nlang kasi di na daw kya ihinang ung luma.So far okay na sya ngaun.

Hay naku hirap talaga pag 2nd hand sasakyan sakit a ulo pati sa bulsa magpagawa.

nangyari sa akin ang ganyan...pero not the same vehicle, the culprit was that the body had a hole wherein duon pumapasok ang singaw ng gas.

the second situation was merun leak yung carburator... so dumadaan sa vent yung amoy ng gas.

hi guys im new here. i have a 2000 pride, had some things done na, topoverhaul, change carb jet to a smaller one, pero my problem is ang lakas pa rin sa gas. binili ko nga to para tipid pero from my calculations 8to10 km/L ang consumption nya. ano kaya problem, minsan amoy gas din nga i suspect a leak din. im planning to change carb kaya or change the engine un pang picanto kung kasya. please help or i'll be forced to sell it and just buy a new car. pero i'd really want to maintain it. tnx

other factors also affects the FC aside from the engine itself
1. driving style - those drivers that they say are lead-footed or heavy on the accelerator
2. distance of your regular trips - short distance trips usually produce lower FC

and for the engine related
1. timing
2. fuel mixture
3. idling level

nakabili rin ako ng 2nd hand na kia cd5.sa engine no problem,but regarding sa carburetor, nagloloko talaga.nabilhan na ng repair kit,pero ganun pa rin.Ok ang fuel pump.
Heto ang situation. pumapasok naman ang gas sa carb,in level,pero ang menor nya,sobra taas, sagad na ang adjustment ng menor nya pero mataas pa rin, once na bitiwan mo ang accelerator,mamamatay ang engine.. tinanggal ko na ang air cleaner nya para makita ko ang buga ng gas sa carburetor,malakas ang buga ng gas coming from carb..
question is, ano possible problema nito kung bakit ganun kataas ang menor nya? anong adjustment ang pwede kong gawin para tumino ang karburador? may kinalaman ba ang wirings dito? Replacement na ba ng carburetor?
Kung sino may alam mabibilhan ng surplus carburetor for Kia Cd5

need expertise.

mga sir nangyari na rin sa kia ko yang mga problema nyo marami na rin akong nasubukan at napagtanungang mekaniko pero wala pa ring nangyari. merong ads dito sa olx at sulit tungkol sa aero wonder lube trinay ko sya so far ok na ang kia ko nawala na yung amoy gas at tumipid pa sa konsumo ng gasolina at higit sa lahat nabawasan ang vibration ng makina ko try nyo rin po...

Hi mga sir- newly acquired Kia CD5 96model.. so far ito palang ang mga napagawa ko- Tune up, changed sparkplug, replace Aux fan for aircon,, replace bypass radiator hose, replace wiper motor, replace gasket, and so far may leak sa isang bypass hose sa bandang ilalim [ero nagawan na ng paraan by putting steel epoxy since tubo naman sya pero now wala ng leak, im using valvoline coolant muna.,edyo magastos at first pero given naman kasi 2nd hand na ito. napansin ko lang medyo malakas ang gas consumption, pinacheck ko sa customers cradle sa shell laspinas, mataas daw idle so binabaan ng kunti , now under observation ko sya. nagundercoat ddin ako para iwas kalawang. so far hindi ko pa sya nappa change oil kasi ok pa naman daw ang oil at yung fuel filter hindi pa napapalitan pero baka ito na ang isunod ko. share ko lang po itong experience ko sa cd5 since first time ako nagkaroon...hindi pa naman sumasakit ang ulo ko pero bahagyang nagkakabutas na ang bulsa ko.... sa halagang 55k ko nakuha ang Kia, ang linis din ng interior at walang issue naman sa engine except yung mga nasabi ko na.In addition to that may nadiskubre akong leak sa water bypass sa ilalim ng radiator ipapacheck ko sa fermin radiator shop sa sucat paras magamot na.
