    Hello Guys,

My Besta Van tire lug nuts turn in the conventional manner (to tighten - clockwise and to loosen counterclockwise) on the passenger side. However on the driver's side its the other way around. My problem since this set-up is not standard here in the Philippine shops, I could not find a set of stainless steel lug nuts to replace the installed OEM. Is there a shop that you know which sells the reversed type or do I have to change my tire bolts?

    Hope to receive feedback. Thanks!

Yes, Bestas used truck style lugnuts.

You would have to change the studs if you want to use other lugnuts on it (e.g. when you want to put on alloy wheels).

Replacing studs on a Besta is not that difficult. It will cost a bit more than changing studs on your average car because Bestas use a six lug hub.

Ford Ranger 4x2 alloy wheels were popular swap ins for Besta during my college days.

    Hi Otep,

lready have the alloy wheels so I guess I will have to go ahead and replace the lug nuts on the drivers side.

    Thanks for your reply.
