They didn't publish Sportage na Gasoline ... puro Diesel/CRDI ... does that mean they have stopped selling Gas Sportages?

Its possible. It seems that the Korean carmakers are actively pushing for CRDi technology. Pati Hyundai tatangalin na yung gas Tucson...

Hindi fault ng Kia ito, columbian ang may gawa talaga. Sa mga kia forums sa ibang bansa, wala talagang issue dun tungkol sa price increase ng kia, may increase pero konti lng. Hindi katulad dito sa pinas na niluluto ng columbian talaga.

February 17th, 2009 01:52 AM #25nakakagulat talaga ang price increases ng Kia.. everytime nagtatanong ako ng price ng Carens.. laging panakot sa akin is yung price increase nila na almost 20-30k. Every quarter ata nag iincrease ang Kia..
tama lang yan.. para tuluyan na silang mawalan ng benta..puro plastic na nga ang interior at walang safety features..magtataas pa ng price.. buti pa Honda.. pag nagtaas ng price..siguradong may extra na nilagay.. kahit pa fog lights lang..

February 17th, 2009 06:49 AM #27With KIA's reputation regarding their former People's Car then, a lot of Filipinos are still thinking that KIAs have low quality. This is exactly why KIAs brand new cars will easily depreciate in value. Hence between buying an expensive Carens and a reasonably priced Innova, I would rather go for the latter since its resale value for an Innova is more competitive than that of a Carens...only my 2 cents opinion...

mahal na maski picanto ah... considering it started selling at 300+k lang. doble na ang price.
and rio now cost as almost the same as a vios? and the lancer GLX/GLS?

February 20th, 2009 11:24 PM #30This kind of pricing strategy is confusing talga. Sayang, there were some Kia models I liked before but I just don't trust how Kia business is being run here so I wouldn't consider one at least in the near future.
Good point on that. But the hybrid one which will give you a ton of savings on fuel maybe worth it...
