oldblue, mga Sorento enthusiast yan sa germany. I saw one picture na madami sila nag off-roading. I just can't believe na girl ang owner ng nice looking na Sorento...hehehe

Yep, it was in Germany where I was schooling in 2004, that I really fell in love with the Sorento (and the Picanto), so when I came back here in the Cebu, immediately looked for one... And now everything is history... A sorento and a picanto for my wife..

Walang balita tungkol dito. As usual, nagtitipid na naman yata Columbian at ayaw mag import ng variant na may VGT Palagi napag iiwanan ng model na pinapasok sa pinas. Matagal na lumabas VGT variant sa ibang countries.

^ Kala ko VGT na yung nakita ko sa may Q. Ave. Parang iba kasi yung kulay & porma. Oh well, sana ilabas nila para mas maraming options.

ABS na ba talaga for '07? Parang wala akong nakitang ABS pump sa engine bay kasi.

I visited the KIA EDSA (last month I think) and the salesperson (an elderly salesmen) there was saying the 2007 Sorento's are VGT model na (daw) and has additional 30 HP not declared in the brochure due to the VGT. And reason for not declaring it (daw) is for tax/cost purposes.

Cannot actually confirm this when he opened up the hood and showed me the engine.

Hope someone knowledgeable on turbos can take a look at the Sorentos at KIA EDSA and double check this.

I think he is wrong, because usually taxation scheme usually looks at the engine displacement or vehicle type, not the HP... just my :twocents:

As I was driving this evening, my horn went silent, or was just producing a very mild as in very mild sound... so I sadi probably its just the horn... then after arriving was checking it again, it came back functioning again... What was it? Dirty connection? battery (but can't be got a new one 3 months ago)? hmmm...

Horn Relay.. Nangyari din po yan sa SORENTO ng cousin ko....
DECO po ba brand ng relay ng SORENTO? STAREX po kasi namin DECO ang brand ng relay & 3 relay na po ng STAREX namin napalitan namin.

2. Intercooler fan relay
3. Parklight relay
