Hahaha. Mas masarap hatawin nung mas stiff yung ride. Sa NLEX I took it to 160 no problem bago ako kinabahan. That was only my third day to drive it. A steady 100-120 km/h and my mileage upon refueling was a cool 13.6km/L.

    It's certainly softer at 33psi.

How bout you guys sa forum, ano yung preferred tire pressure ninyo sa tires? I still use the stock tires and mags. Itching for my first upgrade. Lol.

ser abejr, ako 33psi lagay ko...pero about after 2weeks bumababa sya to about 31psi....
try mo muna 19" and with 255mm section width tires (8.5" rims).... pero kung wala kang
makita (kasi mas common ang bigger size) ay 20inchers.

How is ingress and egress for the 3rd passenger with a 5 + 2 installed seats vs the real 7-seater Sorento?

its a bit more challenging, as the original 7seater Sorento EX has the 2nd. row RH seat folds & tumbles....
whereas the same seat in Sorento LX, only folds. doesn't tumble. that's fine with me, as these were meant
to be used for occasional use only.

Maybe the 2nd row can also tumble. There must be a lock on the floor that holds it down. My captiva was modified with a cable to pull the locks off so it can tumble (when i had a 3rd row installed). Seatmate did the modification on the 2nd row. You might check this out.

I didn't know that (on the stitch divider positions); I did get 430&730 but not the 10 and 2.

But nevertheless, here is my first MOD! Next one will come next week cause I ordered a leatherette cover with the same silver stitch. Cool! I even popped by GCAS today. So many mods! imageuploadedbytsikot-forums1391877881.095646.jpgimageuploadedbytsikot-forums1391877909.027104.jpg

Thanks, *narayan! It's their main branch sa Mandaluyong malapit sa Rotonda, along Nueve de Pebrero. I'll be back tom morning to have my leather seat covers installed. #psyched

I'd say this was nicely done.
Though sa OEM eh mas masinsin at overlapping yung stitches, para kung makalmot man accidentally, hindi agad masisira yung stitch.

What he meant by 10 and 2 is meron din hati dun sa point na yun.
    Look here:

Iyung shift knob pa eh leather-wrapped na din?

Sorry forgot the price. P1800 plus P100 tip. Like *parakitoJDM said in this topic, look for Mang Romy. Jun is the guy who does steering wheels.

Yep I'm aware of the hati at 10 & 2 locations. But I'm happy with the way my steering was done.

No, I wanted the shift knob to be leather wrapped din but they have to have the casa access it cause there is some cable that has to be released first. Anyone out there who's done theirs?

Oh and here is my 3rd mod:

Any tall Sorento owners? (ranging from 6'1 to 6'3) Would you care to comment on seating comfort while driving? I recently sat on a LX floor unit in KIA Pampanga and find it to be on the short side, even asked the SA if the driver's seat is at it's fullest extent. So, for the tall Sorento drivers out there, how do you find the Sorento on long drives? TIA

I'm just 5'10" its very spacious for me. You must have much longer torso than most Filipino's that should explain the cramped feeling....but not any chance you had thick Soles on your footwear?
