KIA Sorento LX 2013

^ didn't you test drive before buying? Online reviews are great but the things you're complaining about can easily be noticed during a test drive. It could have saved you from your buyer's remorse.

I test drove the 2014 LX when I was choosing between this and the Sportage and I also noticed the engine noise inside the cabin but I wouldn't say the Sorento's engine is noisier than a Montero's. I sometimes mistake our neighbor's Montero for an Izuzu but the Sorento is much quieter from the outside. Better have yours checked.

As for the suspension, it's not tuned to be as stiff as a ladder-on-frame SUV but rather it's tuned for comfort. Again, a test drive should have told you this and not online reviews.

if your family is sensitive to body roll, you should've have test driven before buying. Maybe their family is used to riding luxury vehicles.

His complaint is interesting kasi it appears magkaiba ang suspension settings ng harap (malambot) at likod (matagtag). So liquid shocks sa harap and gas shocks sa likod ang nilagay ng Kia? Our office has a 2012 Fortuner, a 2012 Hilux and a 2013 Montero and all of them roll like a boat when taking the U-turn at PHILCOA.

my suggestion to you, go and test drive one before you buy (and not do what i did). you might not be as sensitive as my family and i. as the saying goes, different strokes for different folks. we all have our own tolerances, preferences, experiences, etc. the reason i've posted is not to give the sorento LX a bad rep but to look for people who are the same as me and find out what solutions they've come up with, if any.

yebo suggested to look into sound deadening. anyone tried it? i've tried it on the doors before but not on the wall between the engine and the cabin.

where are you located? you can try out mine and see if it handles and sounds the same. BTW when and where is the next Sorento Club EB?

btw, i wouldn't say it "rolls" but instead use the term "sways" a little but enough to give us discomfort. again, that's just us, we all have our own preferences.

You may want to try spring cushions like o-sullee. It's supposed to reduce the rate of spring compression. Also, you may want to have your sway bar checked to see if the nuts and bolts are screwed on tight.

This is due to broken washer somewhere s harapan ng sasakyan, d ko na maalala kung saan exactly. Plastic daw kasi ginamit and over time nagccrack daw un. The fix is easy though he say. Palitan lng daw ng metal washer.

I experienced this before, especially once I accelerate or every time I step on the gas pedal. Complained about it during my 15K PMS and Kia ERod was able to fix it. The SA was not surprised when I mentioned it and seems like a common problem on the sorento.

ser screws, sa pagkaka-alam ko ay sa 2010 to 2012 Sorento lang eto...yung FaceLift model ay using metal washer na ata sa DriveShaft locks.... ano po model year Sorento nyo?

i heard they are, if you complain they have that part available....

some members (3 i know to date) have complained of ABS sensor issue. 2 of 3 already got them replaced...
seems common with SF3....

TBT, upgraded Sorento LX side mirror to that of EX (higher)..... could gain Power Folding+ LED Side repeater + Driver Side Windows (auto-UP/DN) originally t was just Auto-DN....













Power Window Motor : Orig 2pin connector. with AUTO-UP/DN has 6pin connector....

The 5 seater 2014 sorento lx is now being offered with 100k cash discount. I think its a good offer but My dilemma is since outgoing model na siya baka maglabas ang columbia ng low variant ng all new kia sorento with lower price. What do u think? Kunin ko na ba ito or antay nalang ako baka mag labas ng low variant ang kia sorento?
