ser RjayGwapo, pinag iisipan ko din ngayon Nakamichi NA2650 kasi may GPS NAV and 5.1Audio. Avlbl sa Ace HW at SM Aura....sabikaya daw paganahin audio ctrls....

o try nyo din mga Pioneer 8450 ni MASPRO ...mga SF3 madami na sya kinabitan and kaya din mag work str audio ctrls.

either way still need 2DIN frame... heard its arnd Php3200~...

But the question will be, how much weight is the trailer? (it is not mentioned in the video)

My SX can tow up to 3500lbs says on the paper but I haven't tried yet.

Hi, I'm new here. I was browsing for reviews of the Sorento and came across this thread. Have been reading it straight for the past few days getting tips. We are planning to get the LX 4X2 version by end of the month or early Nov. I've read about the mods that you did and I might do tha same.

Hindi ba risk na mavoid ang warranty if in case magpakabit ako ng HU or Fog Lamps sa labas instead of sa Casa? Other accessories na plano ko ikabit later would be the rear spoiler and yung rail.

^^ sa growl adio they use harnesses to connect the HU, so walang putol ng cables. in case may warranty claim ka then just go back to growl and have the old HU installed back.

btw, to those with aftermarket HUs,, did you still keep the oem HU? i still have mine and don't know what to do with it kasi.

There should be 4 digits, normally between 2 asterisks.

parang 6digit ang NEXEN tires; the way i interpret Mfg. code nya ay :

    MMYYDD.

so it looks like in your case, its Jan, 31. 2013.

I had a chance to test drive the Kia Sorento last week together with Fortuner and Montero. Day ang night difference nga talaga both on engine response, speed of acceleration, handling and comfort. Sold na kami both ni wifey to get this. The only thing holding me back now is the question why people seem to still prefer the Fortuner and Montero over the Sorento. Is there something I should know? Btw, I live in along Mindanao ave and malapit lang sa akin yung GCAS so its a bonus.

Research mode na ako kung saan maganda ang deal at maayos ang service na dealership. I have already submitted my application for bank loan and hopefully by mid November makakuha na ako.

    ill try to answer.

First: Bandwagon mentality (many on road then it must be better)
Second: Filipino stigma on Korean brands
Third: Ride height (for flood fording or so)

Had the same observation sir. What i forgot to check is which aircon is better or colder in the second row? Side vs ceiling vents?
I'm from the province sir, pwede pa share kung better ang deals dyan sa syudad.

Depende rin, bro, on how do you intend to use your SUV. The Montero and Fortuner, especially the 4x4 variants really drive differently. They may not be as snappy as the Sorento but they give you a lot of torque, especially when you really need it. They are also truck-based so it's understandable that the ride will be stiffer. Although those two have a higher centre of gravity, I personally feel that they are more stable. especially during high speed.

This is just my personal view because I have a 6-year old 3.0 Fortuner that hasn't failed me yet. We have (with my family) practically toured the entire island of Luzon with it. From Aparri to Sagada to Baguio to Baler to Bicol, etc. The usual set up if we travel is something like this; 4 kids, 3 of them are 6-footer, 2 MTBs at the back and a Thule roof box that contains stuff around 100lbs. And did I say that I race that beast aggressively no matter what road condition? Flat roads or zigzags. It is also my daily drive around the city so you can just imagine the mileage.

This is how I abuse my Fortuner:

I just got a 5-seater Sorento and I'm impressed with its drivability. I also have the 1st gen Tucson, circa 2008. Those two I can compare BUT i don't think I can utilise my Sorento the way I did my Fortuner. It will be only for city drives and leisure long drives to the countryside. I may be wrong though...

    Cheers!

    Dambala
