yup tama si renzo, wag mo i-baby sa break in. 1st 500 km medyo get to know mo muna car mo, like kung ano yung comfortable (trusted) speed mo sa corners (exit o entry ng e-way, flyover sa ortigas, etc). after nun dapat humahataw ka na ng 140kph, tapos hataw mo na testingin mo top speed haha! maghanda ka lang ng P500 pambayad ng fine sa sctex. and 1 day seminar. pero di naman ako nahuli, back and forth sa sctex dau-subic. GS ko ganun din, hinataw ko ng 185kph papunta kami ng pagudpud, fully loaded pa yun. layo ng break-in ko no, pagudpud haha!

idala mo na ng baguio yan this long weekend,

So ang understanding ko ng break in is to vary the RPMs.

btw mga sir, ano nga ba ang recommended fuel ? nabasa ko somewhere about euro grading.. don't remember where i read it.. but what do you guys recommend for diesel ? ok ba yung PTT and seaoil ? mura diesel sa kanila.

seaoil and unioil diesels are both euro-4 compliant, dun ako nagpapakarga pero mas madalas sa unioil kasi may new station sa way ko (mindanao ave). pag nasa probinsya ako sa caltex or shell, never sa petron.

AFAIK, Seaoil is Euro 3 compliant~. Unioil is Euro 4 compliant~ with their 50 ppm diesel. I always go to either station if possible. Mas madalas ako sa Seaoil due to convenience ng location for me.

How abt yung sa big 3? Meron silang cheaper diesel and more expensive diesel. Gaya kanina in shell, meron 42pesos na diesel fuelsave and 44 pesos na diesel nitro ?

If unoil and seaoil are euro4, i think tgey should advertise their fuel as such kasi ang tingin ng market cheap ang fuel nila.

why worry? as long as your fuel level is not overflowing from your tank then it should be fine. just like my ride, at full tank the fuel needle points beyond the F position and will level only after running about 70km

^ Between the fuel tank and the fuel cap, there's only a hose. Although it should be sealed and fastened tightly, it's not intended to hold fuel and there's always a probability it will give way lalo na kung uber over-filled which I'm worried what happened to me. I travelled approximately 110 kms since my last full tank. I'm getting around 8 km/L worst case city FC so that's 13.75L~. Fairview station filled the tank with 21.86L or 62% of the Sportage's 35L fuel tank.

Till now, the gauge needle hasn't moved yet Yes, I'm worried a bit. I'll be even more worried if I smell diesel fumes like another guy here in the forums. Wala naman thankfully

you worry too much bro. those hoses were designed for fuel. di naman kotse mo ang first na ma-overfill. and i always fill to the brim when i go on a long trip as i do not like filling up in unknown gas stations.

i tried comparing my other car's retrofit hid lights to the sorento projector lamps.. and the retrofit wins hands down.. can i safely install hid lamps onto halogen projectors.. same cutoff characteristics din ba kaya ? worried lang ako na baka mag glare.. is a halogen projector designed for halogens only ?
