Actually, not all that much.



Parang low-level tweak lang ng styling ng luma. Everything's smoother, but the general styling cues are the same.

cause i saw the old sorento at festival mall 2 days ago coz they have a car exbt i think until today, and when i checked the interiors and safety features of the new one..big improvement.

i think the facelifted models looks different than that.

it looks like this.

it has different headlamps and grille. more importantly, the new 2.5L 16v CRDi with VGT engine producing 170hp.

Full details of all three models will be available at the Kia press conference for the 76th Salon de l’Automobiles on 28 February in Hall 5 at 12.30 hrs (local time).

I think, for me, price for it is a little bit fair narin, albeit for the CRDi, it deserves to have that base tag price starting at P1.0M+ P1.1M (afaik, for the TX or LX model (not sure w/c of the two if a 2.5 diesel or a 2.4L petrol): no foglamps, monotone, m/t & 4x2 only, no ABS & EBD, driver-side AB).

AFAIK again, for the 2.5 EX model: P1.4M+ (4x4, 5-speed, HIVEC w/ Adaptive Sequential Shifting, etc.) pricey indeed, but much I like rather than RAV4 or CRV.

Meron na pa lang 2.4L gas at 192 hp. Lakas nyan. Di ba X-trail 2.5, 180 hp lang. Tapos Mazda Tribute at Escape 3.0, mga 203 hp tama ba? Ganda ng commercial ng 2007 Sorento kita ko sa discovery channel lalong lalo na yong part na nasa Mud sya na lahat ng gulong spinning. Hanep ang hitsura!

Ps The spectra5 is cerato in europe this is entirely diffrent from the rio model. Magada rin ang specs ng spectra 2.0 crdi

Wow! very powerful, I just wonder where this horsepower war will eventually go (one can barely drive over 60 kmh here in the city!) , with the price of fuel rising almost every month... wouldn't it make more sense if the manufacturers would develop more fuel efficient and environmentally friendly products?

Nabasa ko na mga bagong gas at diesel engines na labas para sa Sorento, mas fuel efficient na sya compare noon. Hintayin natin mga test drive at reviews.

Despite being more powerful, Kia claims similar fuel economy figures. So I guess more power is ok. At least you won't have to rev the engine's guts out just to keep up with traffic.
