Soluto kinda rhymes with sulit to.

I googled, soluto means solute in italian. Like in chemistry.

    Still ugly for a name.

That's why they call it Montero in the americas, because of the latinos.

Not entirely sure if true but I've heard from friends that some Kia cars suffer from overheating problems (maybe if not really maintained well). But just for fun, I kinda think "So Luto" stands for "So Cooked" if indeed you have had that experience of overheating

But kidding aside, seems like the battle for the competitively-priced but loaded subcompact segment is getting hotter! And it's us consumers who will "hopefully" benefit (sans the worsening traffic hehe)

in my opinion, in recent automotive history, few ads lived up to the actual km/li figures in real everyday driving.

It seems that when you pressed on the clutch when you shift gear from 1st to 2nd, it will lock up, it does'nt go to 2nd gear. I tried it also when backing up, pressed on the clutch but then again, it locks up... wow. This is the 1st time i've encountered this kind of problem. I've had i think 15 vehicles in my time mostly manuals and only 4 were not. This is a first.

Finally, casa found the culprit... it was the 2nd clutch assembly.. the rubber cap was leaking. They replaced the whole assembly..... it is now running smoothly.

Here are the specs. Consumption will always be higher in metro manila so take it with a big block of salt.
