hey guys hows everybody. i just replaced the speedometer on our carnival. damage is 5, +++ bucks. whew. tsk tsk set back muna ang turbine cleaning.

saw the korean site too. new 2.9 crdi makes 170 ps * 3700 rpm & 38.0 nm * 2000 rpm. yummy.

Hi salonika. Malapit na kita abutan. My Sedona is already at 119,000+ kms. Yung problema ko lang ay palagi akong sa gas station nagpapa-PMS dahil napakalayo ng matinong casa mula sa amin. I just follow the maintenance sked in my user manual to make sure that every item is attended to during a particular maintenance interval.

The problem I have now is that occasionally, when I have been stuck in traffic for about 10 minutes or so, the engine appears to choke when I move using first gear. Para bang mamamatay ang makina, kaya kailangan ko i-rev ng mas mataas pag na-traffic ako ng matagal. Any ideas on what could be causing this?

Regarding the new Sedona --it indeed looks sweet and tempting, but I think our next purchase will be a Sorento since we moved to a rural area. Anyway, I plan to use my current Sedona for several more years.

I just hope they shortened the front overhang on the 2006 Sedona. Maraming beses na akong nadale nung mahabang overhang na yan; sumasabit palagi kung mabilis yung approach ko sa mga inclined roads or driveways

Also, I hope that the version they market in the Philippines isn't too dressed down. Nakaka-inggit yung mga features para sa US market; sana naman kaunti lang yung tanggalin nila. I'd really appreciate that remote tailgate thingy, for example

mikey177, sorry I haven't experienced a similar problem yet. If I recall there is a casa in Dagupan (malayo ka dun?). A stone hit my windshield when I was coming from Alaminos and I dropped by the place to check on the price. Grabe... 17k. Good thing there was insurance.

I suggest you have it checked sa casa. I had a major bearing replaced since it was already coming loose. The casa people put a mark on the bearing in one of my earlier visits and upon checking lately (110k maintenance) they noticed that it moved, ayun gastos na naman. I don't want to risk breakdowns since I travel a lot.

Dagupan is about 40 minutes from our place, but I'm not that enthusiastic about getting my ride serviced at Kia Dagupan.

In my experience, they are not as meticulous as Wheels E. Rod when performing a PMS. And I'll never forget the time they left a wrench in my engine compartment, which I discovered upon reaching my house

Anyway, I'll just have the van checked out in QC when I have spare time.

The Kia Grand Carnival looks almost identical to the USDM Sedona.

good tidings to all am looking for a second hand sedona, i was reading the thread and actually went into the net to get some feedback on the sedona, ang haba nga ng thread and it was very helpful for my decision.
