nope...kia pride(cd5,lx,gtx) have the cheapest spare parts in the market....for shock absorber, I used ginza brand shock absorber. this is one of the cheapest but good quality brands....

good evening sa lahat ng naka kia.hingi lang sana ako ng tulong about my kia pride,it's a hatchback '00 model.i've been trying to register sa club kia kc may nabasa ako sa net na marami nga daw dun member na may mga autoshop especializing in kia pero ilang araw ng hindi daw possible ang registration.malakas sa gas ang kia ko 7.5-8kms/liter (with/without aircon),di na sya nakakatuwa.ginawa ko na halos lahat pero wala pa rin like overhauling the carb (kamuning) even changing jet from 125 to 95 pero ganun pa rin,regular naman change oil and tune-up ko ganun din sa checking ng tire pressure.nawawalan nako pag-asa.gusto ko na sya ipasakal kaso baka pumugak na or humina hatak.i am a defensive driver and quick shifter kaya with my driving style hindi rin dapat malakas sa gas.inisip ko na rin iswap engine ng kia ko with the same engine ung surplus kaso wala din budget plus yung hassle ng change engine no.wala din kc assurance na titipid uli kia ko pagpina-overhaul e kaya baka meron kayo marefer na gumagawa ng kaatulad ng problem ng kia ko,i will appreciate it so much,thanks and God bless.

try to drive slowly sir stock ba engine? well ganun nga they were not meant for speed maliit lang din makina ... like my suzuki if hinataw mo talaga FC is 9-10km/l kasi di sya meant for speed pang mabagal lang kaya ganun.. HTH

Adjust air/fuel ratio of your carb, maybe the mixture is too rich. Check your filters (air, fuel) if it's already worn out, check your hoses for leaks, check your sparkplugs and sparkplug HT wires (uneven distribution of current will also result to poor combustion. Don't know any specific brand but if your car is stock then go for OEM parts. Goodgear in Pasay sells Kia brandnew parts or you can sort out in Banawe for surplus Korean parts.

mga sir! baguhan po ako at kakabili ko lang ng kia lx sedan 91 model nung sept 3 2009 dahil sa magaling na BAGYONG ONDOY binaha sya at umabot ang tubig sa lower part ng windshield..i tried to start the car nag start sya at umaandar! pwede nyo ba ako tulungan kung ano ano ang mga dapat pa check o paayos dito? salamat ng marami...

you should not have started the car.....pwedeng napasukan ng tubig ang carb, engine block, gear box, and gas tank....baka masira ng husto ang mga yan kung di mo muna ide-drain and lilinisin ng husto ang mga ito....

1. carb - may need to really clean the parts piece by piece
2. engine block - drain your oil, check if there is water present.if yes, you might need to open your engine block, remove pistons and clean the internals piece by piece again
3. same thing with your gas tank....baka nahaluan na ng tubig.

you might also want to make sure that all your electricals are really dry....to avoid short-circuit that can cause fire...

una sa lahat salamat kapatid na pobreparin! nalinis na carb, yung gas di naman pinasukan nang tubig dahil pinatagasan ko ng 4 na litro yung tangke purong gsa naman lahat, naka pag pa change oil narin ako. kaso di ko alam yung sinasabi mong tatangalin yung pistons at bubuksan engine block..pasensya na bago lang ako nag ka sasakyan kaya wala ako masysdo alam magkano pa bukas ng engine block at palinis kaya?
