Kia PMS

Just want to share my experience with KIA Pasay.

1. Instead of using ZIC synthetic as agreed upon sa job order, they used regular oil
2. took four hours for a simple PMS
3. did not clean brakes kaya may langitngit pa rin yung sportage
4. "lounge" is rotten OLD

DO NOT have your car serviced at KIA PASAY

Matatal nga sa kia pasay. Mga 930 dumating ako then naabutan pa ako ng lunch break. Natapos yata ako ng 2pm.. simple PMS lang din naman.. and yes, old lounge.
Saan ba okay na casa?

15000km pm done yesterday on the sorento at kia congressional. Their first quote was for P12,000+ but then they were going to change fuel filter (2400), air filter (forgot how much) and aircon filter (1300), plus may washing pa e umuulan naman kahapon. Told them fuel filter is not due yet until the 20kkm pm, also told them not to replace the air filter and aircon filter and just clean it, e alam ko naman malinis pa since i just checked last week. So after the 20% discount on labor and oil the total 15000km pms cost only P4034.00

and they washed the car free.

Sir i called kia congre nung march yata. Hindi daw pwede mag dala ng sariling oil and other parts. I dont know why. Hehe.

I asked yesterday, pwede magdala ng parts like oil filter and there will be no corkage. Oil ang di pwede. Zic fs naman na oil nila so ok lang.

Aba hindi na pwede magdala ng oil sa Kia Congressional. Last PMS ko (Dec. 2012) pumayag pa sila. Motul kasi dinala ko.

^depende din siguro kung sino nagtatanong. Pag ikaw malamang pwede, suki ka na dun e. Ako 2nd time pa lang.

Ok naman pala price ng Fully Synthetic oil sa casa. Only P640/L sa Kia Davao. Total Quartz 9000 5w-30 gamit nila.

Mga bossing, tanong ko lang sana kung anong baldwin filter pwede sa rio 2014 1.4L? thanks.

As a comparison with Hyundai, as a sister brand, they differ. For diesels, Oil change, for one is so different. Kia opts for a complete o/c every 6 mo or 5k kms while Hyundai does a top up. With Hyundai, the oil is more expensive than Kia. With Hyundai, all the things they do are charged. Kia does not charge for minor maintenance, like tire rotation. Sa kia, change a/c filter every 5k & air filter every 10k, sa Hyundai, 10k a/c at linis lang engine air filter. Kia allows modification but, if that part breaks down, warranty is void. Hyundai does not allow mods, outright void warranty.
Overall, because of the amount of oil per PMS, parang mas mahal Kia.

We are talking about the after sales service, not the brand.

Guys sino nang nagpa 80K Kms PMS ng current Gen Kia Carens?
Magkano po inabot? Saan po kaya medyo murang casa kasi major PMS siya at medyo mabigat sa bulsa. If outside casa, ano ano po bang scope of works ang inlcuded sa 80K kms PMS? any recommended car shops in the South that specializes in CRDi? Many thanks

Anybody has changed ATF outside casa? What ATF does Kia vehicles use? We need to change ATF for a Sorento.

Pag 6 speed AT you need SK SP4 atf.. if 4 speed SK SP 3

Anybody with high mileage Kia? 200k km and above. Have u change timing chain? Fan belts? Engine support? There is no power loss or increase engine noise. As manual Kasi, inspect Lang nabasa ko.thank you in advance
