Kia Picanto 2013 Fuel Consumption

Hello guys, I would like to ask for your help and advice especially doon sa mga Picanto owners. I've read terrible comments about it's Fuel Consumption, which discourages me from buying it. I'm planning to buy the 1.0L AT at ang sabi 5-6 km/l daw ang FC in real life at anlayo sa advertsed FC nila na 18km/l. If that's the case, meaning say mas malakas pa FC nya sa 1.6L ko na kotse. I don't know if those comments are true kaya patulong naman kung ano ang totoo..thanks!

yup kia sucks even the all new rio

if your looking for a economical fuel consumption on a petrol engine try the mirage and celerio (mirage- long que, celerio- no que that will be your problem)

sa diesel there's the accent hb (again long que)

Konti lang yata Picanto owners dito sa tsikot kaya isa lang nag-reply. Gusto ko pa naman sana ang exterior and interior styling nito, sayang kung gas guzzler pala ito.

Thanks for the info...medyo malakas pa rin pala talaga ang FC nya for 8-9km/L ang AT variant considering it's small size

Tipid na yan bro para sa 13-14 km/L, magiging masaya na ako nyan kapag ganyan ang FC ng AT picanto

I bought Kia Picanto 1.0 AT last June 11, 2013. First yung FC nya nasa 5-6 km/L, ibinalik ko sa KIA Global City, don ko kse nabili...sabi nung agent patagalin ko daw kahit mga 4 months...makikita daw talaga ang gas consumption kapag na-reach na yung 1,000 km...so after 4 mos, nag 8 to 8.5 Km/L, at nung nag tagaytay kme, sa long driving tipid naman nag 15 Km/L, pero steady lang yung speed ko sa 80km, so medyo malakas parin pagdating sa City driving, so bumalik nanaman ako sa Kia, sabi naman ulit ng agent try kong obserbahan after ng first change oil, possible na mas tumipid pa daw. Then after ng change oil, wala pa naman 1 month, parang ganon parin...pero patagalin ko pa hanggang 4 months, kapag nagsteady na sya sa 8.5 Km/L, ibabalik ko ulit sa KIA tong kotse ko, may pang test daw sila ng gas kung talagang malakas kumain ng gas yung otto...update ko na lang kayo peeps kung ano maging balita...hehe

I bought Kia picanto 2013 1.0 MT last month, current ODO reading is 750kms, FC is 14km/L mixed driving, city driving is 10-12 Km/L, highway driving is 16-18 Km/L(ave. speed is 80km/h)

Planning to have a Kia Picanto pero medyo disappointed ako sa Fuel Consumption nya, baka mag Toyota Wigo, Suzuki Celerio or Mitsubishi Mirage na lang ako. :lol:
