Last time a car had “No” in it’s title – it was the Chevy Nova – which in Spanish loosely translates to “No Go.” Nova was not a very successful sell South of the Border. Let’s hope Kia’s No 3 (as in Number) will do better. Kia’s concept, which will debut at the Geneva Auto Show, came out of Kia’s European design studio, featuring a panorama glass roof, which is very popular these days. There are diagonal support bar that starts at the A pillar on the passenger side and connects to the B pillar on the driver’s side.

The Korean Auto Maker is hoping to grow in popularity throughout North America. Vehicles like Sorento and Rio are already good sellers for Kia in the States, thanks to their fuel efficient engines and cost effective price tags. The No 3 Concept may show how Kia can break away with a design that is all their own. Check out more details in Kia’s official Press Release below.

    Official Kia Press Release:

It’s a magic number for Kia! The No 3 concept makes its debut at Geneva

Keeping up its reputation for showing concepts that lead to reality, Kia is playing the numbers game at the Salon de l’Automobile in Geneva next week with the debut of the all-new No 3 concept.

Carving a new niche in the small-car market the No 3 delivers flexibility and fun creating a beautiful car that is also great to drive – and even better will be great to be seen in!

The concept features a unique extended windscreen and panoramic glass roof with a diagonal supporting bar and an automatic sun visor.

Designed by Kia’s European design team, led by Peter Schreyer, the No 3 also features the new ‘face of Kia’ with the front grille, head lamps and brand logo in a new constellation arrangement.

The 4045 mm long concept is finished in matt Titanium Grey with contrasting gloss-white accents and will be unveiled at 12.15pm on Tuesday 3 March at the Kia stand in hall 4/5.

Kia's No.3 Concept now has an official name: Kia Venga

    Length: 2068mm; Width: 1760; Height: 1600mm; Wheelbase: 2615mm.

Whoa, the dimensions are quite similar to the Hyundai Matrix/La Vita. Could the Kia Venga finally be the La Vita/Matrix's successor?

In my opinion, they should have had kept the concept design's grille instead of the production model's. I dunno, but I find the production model's grille kinda bland.

Different angles, but they give an idea as to how the Venga's size stacks up against other lines. Size comparo with a Stavic and a sedan:
