wow CarPlay ready? Ano po Brand and model#? Ano nga pala advantage nyan over normal models? Do Android user's get any benefit on that type of H.U.?

I got the Pioneer AVH-X8650BT kase yun lang ang available that's Car Play ready. When you buy the unit though, it has the old firmware pa so you need to update it yourself. It's quite easy to do. Hmmm... the other reason why I bought it is because I wanted a rear camera for my Soul. Right now the apps that are Car Play ready are few palang, pero some I use frequently like Spotify, Podcast, Stitcher, Messages and Phone. Yung Apple Maps medjo di reliable. Hopefully magkaWaze in future updates.

I'm not sure if it has an advantage over other models, pero the HU I got marami shang features: Bluetooth, CD/DVD, HDMI, Car Play, App Radio Mode (you can use Waze, etc), Mirror Link, etc.

For Android users naman you can use all the other features except for the Car Play one.

*RCA talked to two another Kia casa yesterday and the fog lamps were at 16k. Tumaas pa! Hahaha. Nadadaan ako minsang Kia Alabang, so might be cool ti visit them and ask about their fog lamps. Laki ng diff ng 7.5k sa 16k.

Ok sir iraya. ako naman napaisip kaagad if tama yun pricing sa alabang hahaha!! pero 100% ako na 7500 na talaga sya kasi nagisip pa ako if papakabit ko na kaagad kasi sabi nila yun 7500 pati installation kasama na. Tapos 2 beses ko pa binalikan kaya lang wala sa priority list ko yun fog lights. Ngayon na napaguusapan natin kinakati na rin ako magpalagay! hahaha! Anyway kaya feeling ko taga yun price nakita ko sa ebay ito.

HU with the normal interface. The stock radio looked a bit more "astig" because of all the dials, etc. Putting the 2DIN Pioneer made the dash look bare. That said, the additional functionalities made up for it naman.

PS. I use the Transcend DrivePro 200 as my main dashcam


Once you plug your iPhone it will activate Car Play. You'd need the latest iOS and the latest firmware for Pioneer for this to work.

As for your question. It really depends on your preference. Ako kase it was easy kase I didn't want a sedan, and hindi ako mahilig personally sa big SUVs. My choices were Jazz, Soul or Ecosport. As for upgrades, so far the upgrades I've done were: change of mags and wheels & Head Unit. I'm thinking of upgrading pa the fog lights. For accessories I've only bought the rain visor and leather covers.

If you think about it medjo "lugi" ka for the cost if yung gusto mo talaga SUV kase yung price nya halos kaparehas na ng entry level SUVs.
