Gusto ko pa sana pagdamot yun info pero since dito rin ako kumuha ng inputs tungkol sa ibang cars (biggest influence yun hyundai hatch na thread) I think it's fair na mag share din ako ng input para makatulong sa iba. iilan palang nakita ko sa road (total 4 Silver-Las Pinas, White-Balintawak, Yellow-San Fernando and of course si Khale). Yun yellow pala magandang maganda rin pala pag tinatamaan ng araw hindi ganun ka loud yun color. Forgot to add.. Improvement sana sa mga susunod na gen na soul. lagyan nila ng ac vent yun likod. Since malaki yun cabin space kaya naman palamagin yun likod pero at the expense of the driver and the front passenger na halos manigas na sa lamig. Pag mainit yun panahon and light yun tint kailangan mo ilagay sa two or minsan three yun blower para umabot sa likod problema lumalamig masyado sa harapan. Yun lowest level na blower na naka mid yun thermostat perfect yun lamig para sa driver and front passenger IMO pero not enough para sa mga passengers sa likod (lalo na sa mga big boy na tulad ko )pag tanghaling tapat. Pati rin pala yun side mirror for me parang medyo maliit or baka nasanay lang ako sa trucks,suv's and vans. Lahat ng sumakay sa likod ang unang napapansin nila or sinasabi nila "ang laki/luwag pala nito"- oo nga pala wala pa ko nasasakay na 6 footer . Pati pala pahabol hindi ko alam if standard na ito sa lahat ng model ng mga vehicles ngayon pero yun sa soul meron ng mga cover/gurad yun pangilalim. yun exposed lang yun linya ng exhaust system/muffler. Halos lahat may takip na sa ilalim na lalo ako napangiti. Yun 3rd gen na everest ni father in law na kinuha namin nung 2009 exposed yun ilalim - Di lang ako sure if base model kasi yun or ganun lang talaga.

I actually considered this as a car for the misis...but I was constrained by the budget, I tried to look for 2nd hand ones but since its relatively new, I didnt see any...

Its a YOLO car and If I see some 2nd hand ones in the next two years, I wouldnt hesitate to sell the my 2nd car for this cool ride.

Thank you sir. Actually you'd have a better chance finding a second hand ecosport (direct competitor). Overall it's a very good purchase. It's fun to drive, spacious, and very efficient considering it's almost a box shaped car. Maintenance is also cheap considering that this is one of the smallest diesel engine and shares the same engine with the accent kaya no problem with engine parts. As far as I know the suspension is similar with the forte,ceed and the elantra (based sa mga nabasa ko sa ibang forums and website sa ibang bansa). If this is the case wala rin problem sa mga major spare parts sa suspension. Yun tranny lang ako walang idea. Sana pareho sila ng Carens AT para lahat ng pyesa locally available . If all these factors are in play mahirap na talaga bitawan ang soul. Once you purchase this car it doesn't make any sense for a short term ownership not unless yun next gen na soul lalo pa gumanda or yun hyundai ix25 dalihin nila dito sa Pinas na naka CRDI na (hopefully sa 2016). Di ako sure pero parang nabasa ko sa hyundai thread na maglalabas sila ng accent CRDI AT sedan na sub 800 ata. If totoo yun in my opinion mukhang sulit na sulit din yun.

I think yung accent crdi a/t comes with the 4-speed pa rin. soul is 6-speed right? saw the basic model accent crdi hatch yesterday, mukhang bare with still rims but dual airbags na rin.

yup 6at yun soul. pero since it's a bigger car and halos box type mas maganda pa rin ang fc ng hatch. yun rims naman pwede naman bilihin sa aftermarket. If top 2 priorities mo is engine performance and overall space city and out of town go for the soul. pero if space is not a priority sa hatch ako. If price,cargo space and engine sa accent sedan ako. If total functionality (space,fc,goodies etc), value for money and not looks yun hanap mo sa totl G4 cvt . If naghahanap ka ng sakit ng ulo sa fiesta/ecosport DCT ka pumunta. Hehehe!! Joke!
