Hi sir nangyari din sa akin yan third day narinig ko yun parang vibrating sound sobrang badtrip. malaman laman ko kasalanan ko rin pala. iniwan ko yun mga back up batteries para sa remote dun sa loob ng lalagyan ng sun glasses. hehehe! most likely coins or objects na naiwan yan sa mga pockets ng car nyo.

Why is the manual version nowhere in every automotive news / reviews? Kahit sa kia.ph wala din manual specs. Poor advertising. Does anyone happen to have a brochure of the manual version?

Kung ikaw ang agent, sa kalokohang ito ng LTO, may magawa ka rin kaya? Hinay hinay lang ang pwede. kahit isang bayong kwarta mo, wala pa rin yan.

It's a good thing that I was able to test drive this Kia Soul sa MoA event this weekend. Ride is smooth even if diesel.

The problem is the visibility. In other internstional forums, they claim the soul is not SUV but rather a big hatchback. And so it's true pala, ride height is the same as normal hatchbacks but halos ulo mo Lang ang nakalabas when you drive this, Sobrang ka nasa ilalim whether driving or passenger


My advice for people who are interested with soul, test drive it first kung gusto nyo ride height posiiton when inside the vehicle, for me, this is a problem pag bumper to bumper drive sa metro, you can't see anything from the road. It's a Suzuki swift with higher doors parang ganun .. Oh well pass na ako dito.

After 5000km and Roadtrip to Marinduque.

5000 PMS Kia San Fernando Pampanga
-Fully Synthetic Total (Kia's official lube partner)- After the road trip to Marinduque I've noticed that lumakas significantly yun noise level ng engine. FC still the same matipid pa rin. Will try to switch to zic FS pagdating ng 10k. (Feeling ko mas match yun zic oil kay khale)
-Total damage nasa 3350php no additional or extra service. -Change oil, inspection, cleaning of air and cabin filter. Note: Free labor-Kia registration sa website nila.

Marinduque trip:
Angeles-Lucena
Since we are in a hurry to catch the first roro to Marinduque wala muna tipid mode sa pagmamaneho kaya medyo na stretch ko din yun engine. 1 thing I've noticed pag ang load ng soul is nasa almost 400 kilos (1 adult-100 kilos+4 adults-55 kilos each + mga 60kilos na baggage) nalilito yun Transmission if mag downshift sya or upshift sya when overtaking. Solution: If ganyan kabigat yun load ng car shift to manual then pag naka overtake balik sa matic. Regardless ng kahit anong style ng pagovertake yun power is still enough para di ka mabitin sa pag overtake. (Payong kaibigan: When overtaking make sure na maganda yun allowance or clear yun lane when overtaking).
Marinduque
1st time mag drive ni misis sa road similar sa road ng tagaytay and very happy siya kasi hindi siya nahirapan and 1st time nya na appreciate yun stability and comfort ng soul sa mga ganun klaseng road. Na impress din ako considering na medyo ilan months palang sya nagdrive and di rin sya mabagal magpatkbo.

overall impression after 5k (grade B+)
+side:
Driver friendly lalo na sa mga nagsisimula palang magdrive
Power is good kahit sa mabigat na load.

-side:
Aircon (kailangan naka level 2 and sometimes 3 yun blower pag tirik yun araw and stock yun tint mo kasi naiinitan yun mga pasehro sa likod if naka 1 or 2 lang yun blower)
Total oil (dapat bumalik ang casa sa zic RV+ feeling ko eto talaga ang match para sa mga korean crdi)
