Hey guys, im planning to buy a second hand car about 150-200thou php, i have no idea what brand and year of a car... please me... what is the best car in the said budget...

You have a choice of mid-90s Toyota Corolla or late-90s Nissan Sentra for your budget.

These cars might be your best options for your budget.

Downside, these cars are ten to fifteen years old so expect they will have problems. These problems' source would range from wear & tear to potential problems related to bad maintenance/modifications by the car's previous owner(s).

If you know a good mechanic, you should ask him to go with you when you check out used cars that you might be buying. He can check the car for problems that can get expensive if you do buy that particular car.
