All New 2013 Kia Carens

We cannot compare an MPV with an SUV. Magkaiba talaga design philosophy nila. The Carens is a 7 seater urban car while the SUV's are really for off road work. However, may possibility na ma upgrade ang suspension ng Carens para mas mataas but magiging matigas ang ride. Well, we can't have everything.

Bakit naman di natin pwede i-compare. If we have a certain amount of money, we owe it to ourselves to canvass everything that will fit in that budget. May kanya-kanyang pros and cons whether MPV or SUV. Its not like if you have 1.5M automatic SUV na kagad. Otherwise wala na sana bumibili ng Camry. Or maybe baka pangharabas and gusto - What you need to do is cross-reference them along with your needs in order to come to an informed decision.

I personally inspected the Carens and I didnt see or feel anything special on the car that will warrant a 1.480M price on its TOTL variant.

However, should the price is lowered to 1.2M for its TOTL, isa ako sa pipila dito.

I went to Kia Ortigas to take a 2nd look on the New Carens, but what caught my attention instead is the Kia Optima. Almost the same price. If i have to choose between the two, mas maganda talaga Optima.

yung stock tires nga ng LX fm. 205/60-R16 ay 205/55-R16 [pang Honda Civic na lang] EX naman eh 225/45-R17 na lang. dati ay 225/50-R17 dba?

pati makina 1.7li (though mukhang di bumaba torque, sa HP mas malakas pa din dati) sana man lang 2.0li CRDi R-eVGT. kasi nagmahal nga presyo nya eh..... ok lang pala kahit di ko na sya naantay.

Bakit boss parakito. Ano pinalit mo sa carens mo. Planning to buy an alternate car sana. Kala ko nasa 9++ range pwede kopilit budget pero mukhang malabo na kasi lumalabas mas mataas pa siya sa carnival. Baka mirage na lang kunin ko gls cvt heheh

i really want to post my review after using my Carens for 2 weeks already. unfortunately, i am so busy at work. by the way, drop by SOLAIRE. we have alot of ongoing promotions....casino, food & beverage, rooms, spa, etc.

give me until this weekend to post it.

basta, sobrang happy ako with it. sobrang tipid sa gas (diesel). since i got it from the casa, yung full tank ko di pa nangangalahati! to think that the past two weekends, i went out of town (sta rosa and tagaytay). our family of 6 fits the car. di sya cramped. nice legroom (except for the 3rd room na talagang pambata, siguro 5'6" and below). i can go on and on....pero wait na lang sa review ko.

Kia has an ongoing promo for the 2013 Carens EX...
29K per month for 5 years and all in downpayment of 37K...
So parang lumalabas na around 20% ang total interest for 60 months considering the unit price of 1.495M, tama po ba?
Mukhang ok na promo ito. Hehehe

Kia called me last for this promo and even let me have it for 7k down and 29k monthly. Tempting but still not worth it I think. Siguro for the sorento totl I would consider.

Try mo sa pasay and alabang west gate. At first they will give you higher down payment. Samantala kasi I'm not really that interested that's why they give me 7k down.
