The range begins with the base model LX MT which will reportedly sell for PHP 770,000. It is then followed by the LX AT which will apparently be sold for PHP 870,000. Next up is the EX AT which could retail for PHP 990,000. Last but not least is the range-topping SX AT which will reportedly have a price tag of PHP 1.1 million.

PHP 770,000 for the base model LX MT.

Other variants of the 2024 Sonet have yet to be revealed by the automaker. But based on what we've gathered so far, the variant range will also feature the LX AT which will apparently sell for PHP 870,000. Next is the EX AT which could retail for PHP 990,000. Last but not least is the top-of-the-line SX AT which will reportedly have a price tag of just under PHP 1.1 million.

My guess is its from China because Yueda Kia (China) is now being used as a global export hub and they already began exports of the left-hand drive 2024 Sonet.


PS: The PH-spec Stonic, and refreshed PH-spec Seltos are from China.

The P770K starting price of the base Sonet is quite attractive and much lower than the base Stonic.

I thought KIA already let go of China plant.
May news before diba na they are selling their China plant, probably due to political pressure dun sa China.
That's why na phase out Stonic.

Dongfeng sold its stake in the joint venture.
The Kia China joint venture is now known as "Jiangsu Yueda Kia Motor Co., Ltd."

2024 Sonet in China.


The 2024 Sonet launched in Mexico last April (one of the early export markets) was confirmed to be sourced from China.

I guess we'll find out next week.

The Sonet's ground clearance is 205mm, just 5mm more than the Raize.

For reference, the EcoSport's ground clearance is 200mm (pre-facelift) and 209mm (facelifted 2018+ model).
More surprising is the facelifted Xpander MPV and Xpander Cross, both have a 225mm ground clearance.

Higher ground clearance than SUVs but hindi kaya ang baha (Ex: Fortuner - 180-190mm+ lang daw ground clearance nito? vs this 200mm ground clearance KIA Sonet).
That's where the SUV is for, the wading depth to overcome flooded streets.
While CUVs higher ground clearance purpose is for our lubak-lubak and uneven streets and cannot overcome heavy flooded streets
