Yes, it is the TOTL carnival.
11.7 km per liter via on board computer. Mix driving yan, plus na stuck sa traffic going to Tagaytay.
1 full tank can easily give you almost 900 kms of highway and city driving.
NVH and comfort is better than my 2013 Focus, 2011 Everest and in-laws' Innova. The Carnival has 18 inch wheels and the tire pressure is at 33.
Handling is better than the Everest and the Innova.
I looked at the 11-seater. The 2nd and 3rd row seats have a folding jump seat in the middle. I pity the persons who will have to seat here. I looked at it last October when it was listed at P1.99m. How they managed to bring the price down to P1.55m I do not know, unless they took out some more features. In the end, I got the 7-seater, although my preference would have been an 8-seater, like the previous model. The agent informed me that the 8-seater was only available for the petrol version, which has not been made available here. Another feature I miss from the old model is the remote control for the audio system.
I think an additional 4th row will make it really cramped. Perhaps just remove a row and adjust like the 7 seater.
Checked out the 11 seater variant kanina sa Wheels, napinsin ko na nag iba from the outside is the absence of chrome window trims thats on the 7 seater variant. Inside it doesn't seem barebones, the only noticeable difference is the absence of the moonroof and leather seats and of course, the additional row of seats. Kung ako makakabili nyan I would remove the 3rd row seats so that I'd have better legroom and similar seating configuration to the 7 seat model. Tried sitting on the 2nd row seats, hindi ko alam kung masyadong maliit yung seats o malaki lang ako but I don't like the way the headrest interferes with my neck. Maganda naman sya sa loob pero I still prefer the spaciousness of the Grand Starex
You have pics? I placed a reservation for the 11 seater. They removed the roof rails, sun roof, cruise control, leather seats and power lift gate. They placed a rear view camera and retained the power sliding doors. Mags engine etc all the same. 1.55m isn't bad at all for this. That is an almost 800k difference from the 7 seater for the same engine. I couldn't resist.
And the promo price is actually cheaper than my old kia carnival when I bought it in 2008. That's a great deal! Seriously.

I just realized that even with inflation and better tech and a better engine and platform, this promo pricing is fantastic. It's cheaper than the previous generation models price 8 yearsa ago. Really good value for money all things considered.
My old one had only 1 airbag and no backup cameras. It was an 8 seater.
This one has more airbags, better transmission, better engine, better looks, back up camera, better tech and better interior.

Any idea on the wading depth of the Carnival? I mean, I don't expect it to rival SUVs (Fortuner et al) but will it be competitive with CUVs (CRV et al) as MM is prone to floods. The SUVs have wading depth at 600mm to 700mm while the CUVs are at 400mm to 500mm. I compared the loading height of the Carnival to the Odyssey and the Carnival is much higher.
Found an Aussie comparison review of Odyssey vs. Carnival
