Hi dudyman! Congrats on your new ride!
Do you mean it has power rear tailgate, in addition to the power sliding doors? That's a great surprise! Did Kia Cubao charge you for LTO processing, on top of 1.575 M? Thanks!

I'm sure I will. Counting the days until I finally get hold of it. The power rear doors I was expecting, it was the rear aircon I was concerned about. When I saw it, I got to see that it has ample vents and its own control.

Yup, you're right, pretty good features for an entry level unit. Did they throw in anything extra? Like LTO registration, tints, etc.?

Nope, the 11-seater doesnt have a power rear tailgate. That's one of the features they took out in the 11-seater. I honestly don't mind that it doesnt have that feature. For the price that I got it at, its still a pretty good deal.

Yea there are aircon controls in both the front and at the back. No freebies, none whatsoever and I have to pay 10k for the LTO. They were asking for 12k but I told them I'm not paying more than 10k since they told me before that it was free or already included when I put the 100k downpayment

Yeah, that's what I was told too. Kinda conditioned myself already by thinking that the Php 400k discount is worth more than any freebie they could throw in. Have you tested the head unit already? I mean, does it play files (movies, music) directly from a USB?

I was thinking of having the head unit changed to a multimedia one (with GPS, movie playback, apps, etc.), but would reconsider if the stock head unit can handle movies at least.

Hi dudyman and probpt. Thanks for the reply!
Yes, they are also charging me 10k for LTO registration.
I also got a quote of 38K from their in-house insurance (CTPL, Comprehensive Insurance, AOG).

I haven't tried the HU if it can play movies but it sure plays music from a USB.

I haven't availed of the insurance yet since I'm still waiting for a friend of mine to get back here from the States whose with Standard insurance. She always gives me better deals even compared with the banks.
