yung compressor niya yata is like dun sa mga inverter type na aircon. yung hindi namamatay yugn compressor kapag na reach ang temp. parang regulated lang niya yung rpm niya.

Hindi mareregulate ang compressor kasi yung engine ang nagda drive sa kanya.

I was advised by my SA na meron ng 800k na Rio HB na brown interiors + no LED park lights & tail lights... Yun lang ba talaga ang nawala?

Contemplating if I will be getting the 838k or the 800k model... Magkano ba ang aftermarket LED park lights (mala-DRL) at LED tail lights + the Audi-style tail lights?

As of yesterday, there is a Kia Rio HB on display at V-Mall in Greenhills.

Which casa ito bro? In the process of deciding if I'm going to get the Rio HB. If meron 800k minus the LEDs only, then okay na din ito. Sana may black din.

Good news! Nawala yung knocking at gumanda daw konsumo ng gasolina from 12km/l to 14km/l. Hindi lang nabanggit kung city or highway driving.

From the quick glimpse I had... the HB had:
-steering wheel with remote HU control
-cruise control
-17inch alloy wheels
-signal markers on side mirrors
-projector headlights (not sure if HID or halogen)

Finally choose a bright silver Kia Rio 1.4ex m/t sedan over a Vios 1.3E. Drive it straight to a resort 200kms away from home with passengers 4 adults at the back and my wife and son at front passenger seat.

It have 6 forward gears with the first and reverse gear side by side at the upper left corner. There is a trigger mechanism like a spool wrap around the gear shift lever to be pull up before swinging to reverse gear. I often mistake t the sixth gear as a reverse gear thinking driving my old Lancer. Hehe

Average fuel consumption at 500Kms was 7.5 l/100kms.
Best fuel consumption 5.2l/100kms on high way at 60kph 2000rpm with A/C.... with out A/C still 5.2l/100kms but *80kph 2000rpm.
Have not yet exploited the eco mode where in the on board micro computer displays the desired gear for maximum fuel efficiency.

So far no engine knocking issue yet for the 1.4 gamma engine. Even wondered why is it an issue here in the Phil. and was not an issue at other countries...

Because our fuel isn't suited for the Euro-4 (cmiiw) engines of the Rio & Accent. They have to be detuned in order to work properly using our fuel, hence the Euro-2 upgrade for the Accent units.

Another reason why Hyundai cannot push through selling their GDi units here in the Philippines.
